Why the required level for Wolf School gear is 14 when you pratically cannot be ready to go Kaer Morhen until you get the Uma's quest level 19?

Yup. It basically means you'll be upgrading immediately to the Enhanced version. Which is nice, by the way. But a very poor decision for them to have made, I think.

The problem is that the more I try to do only the main quests the more I succumb and explore the lands... And so I find new quests, treasures, monsters... Impossible to ingnore them. That's cruel, too cruel!

I was wondering the same thing. Almost done with Velen and I want the Wolf set, but figured I'd only get to Kaer Morhen until much later. Maybe the wolf set should only come in superior and mastercrafted versions or, like the others, it should be scattered around the world. After all, when Salamandra broke into Kaer Morhen, they likely stole and sold all sorts of things like recipes and, why not, armor diagrams.

So... is the starting armor a dead end? I upgraded it to warrior's jacket but I guess that's it.

One last thing: I think a better approach for the wolf armor (or a future DLC) would be to have a great witcher-esque looking armor and weapon set that you actually customize, depending for instance on who crafts it for you or what components you use, or both. Pretty much a modern version of Raven's armor. This way we don't have to choose between either bonuses or looks.

Well, in my first playthrough I thought the same, but:
Mild spoiler about Kaer Morhen
I will spare you the details, but visit in Kaer Morhen is good point to stop main story... so it's ok to rush there.

Putting the mastercrafted tier schematics in Kaer Morhen and the normal ones in Velen would be a logical fix for this.

Fist fighting: how is it human fighters deal more damage with their fists than monsters do with their claws, or for that matter other humans with sharp words? Lay your guard down and a third or more of your health bar is gone from being punched. Get hit or slashed, and its surprisingly less. Also, is it me or the controls feel awkward in fist fighting? I've honestly found some fist fights in Novigrad more challenging than witcher contracts like the chort, which was also kind of tough for my character level and difficulty setting.

Just complaining for the sake of it. The game is awesome overall.

Ay, the natural rules seem to be utterly suspended whilst fist-fighting. Geralt can slug away -- with steel gauntlets, which would reduce an ordinary man's visage to a raw pulp -- but his opponent never takes the slightest damage, so long as he merely guards his face with his impenetrable forearms. Makes you wonder a bit. . . . but only a bit -- and not for long.

Fist fighting made me rage quite, but only once, and I was very drunk at that point already...

Yup. If there is one thing I hate in this game it's fist fighting multiple opponents. And some of these fights actually happen indoors with very little space to maneuver which makes them all the more frustrating.

I've died more times by falling than by fighting.... I feel that I'm the greatest clumsy in the world when Geralt suddenly falls and die! When he slides without stopping, when there's no way to brake (specially on scaffolds or balconies) or back away when he is slidding till he falls and die, frustration is my only mood.

Yeah, Geralt breaking his legs from a 1 meter fall is quite frustrating -.-

Let's not forget swimming and how Geralt seems to get locked in place when trying to move in the water.

He's constantly rolling down stairs, that's as athletic as it gets.

I finished the game for the first time, and right now I feel such a bit emptiness. I going to restart it soon, but I need to rest the experience a bit, and then play it again. I might be waiting to the new game + option.
Eredin is not really a well written, and rich character but I he has a hell of a boss fight. The best I ever had, I might say.

I am interested to know what things I needed to do to get certain endings. Politically my game probably had a bad ending but for Geralt, Triss and Yen it ended perfectly and was so happy and cute.... ;__;

I will probably restart it in a week or so, but i'm going to try death march or the one below that, since on normal difficulty, Eredin was not even challenging at all. I had the potion that means everytime you use a sign your health regenerates, so I was just quen, hit, igni, hit, quen, hit, igni and so on, and he barely scratched me.
