You're insane. Didn't you just start playing? I started a couple of days after release and have played "only" 53 hours. Just arrived in Skellige.

So... what does everybody recommend? As soon as I get to Skellige, should I go for the wolf set and leave the islands for Kaer Morhen, if possible? Or just take it easy and wait? I'm level 20 so I'll be upgrading to superior griffin armor soon too.

After I found out there is a bad ending, I googled a bit to prevent it. This guide should get everyone the ending he/she intents to achieve.

I haven't finished the game yet. At the moment I am doing all the treasure hunts to get the armor I want. But today I finally found the vampire from the trailer. Not the she-vampire, but the one who became sort of a meme and I am using as avatar. It was priceless.

Hmm, I got the best possible ending for the first run.
Ciri become empress and so on. To be honest I love all the endings, but for me the Witcher ending is what I like the most. The bad ending is depressing like hell though.

Thank you! I will try and do one more playthrough with the same choices I made last time (except maybe this time
I won't set the tree spirit loose...) but I will make sure I do Dijkstra's quest to end Radovid. Then hopefully I should get the same happy ending for Geralt, Yen and Ciri, but Radovid will be dead.

I started playing on June 2nd... so it's taken me about 2 weeks to finish the game because I took some days off from playing when I felt tired (I finished Dishonored too for the first time which is nice!) But I'm currently on holiday so i don't have much else to do. I wanted to make sure I finished my first playthrough before I started working.

As for the armour, I'd wait. Just do some side quests and the main quest. I found the Wolf Armour only a few quests away from the end. The armour needs level 34 for the mastercrafted and I finished the game on level 35 so I didn't have much choice lol.

Is Ciri becoming Empress the best possible ending? In mine she becomes a Witcher, and I felt like that was what she wanted the most. She never once says "I want to be Empress" but she seems to prefer the idea of being a Witcher or a travelling mercenary. I feel like the Witcher ending is the better one :p If Ciri became Empress I feel like Geralt would die from stress, worrying about if someone was trying to harm her for political gain.

You are right, and I agree with you, but if you think about it, she can make way bigger difference as Empress. On the other hand, I still better like the witcher ending for sure, and I aiming for that one in the second run.

I know what you mean but I feel like Ciri deserves to live how she wants as a Witcher, since even if she could do good as an Empress, she's probably doing good as a Witcher too, and she doesn't have to spend time with all those annoying politicians and creepy people (like that guy who Geralt speaks to who says he is going to marry Ciri once she becomes Empress ¬___¬) and she's also free of Emhyr.

Finished my third playthrough

Ah.... the delights of having so much free time :)

There's not really that many endings that I'd be prepared to play through. I wish the Djikstra one had been handled slightly differently. I wanted to play that, but I just couldn't.

He shouldn't have...
said he was going to kill Roche and Thaler BEFORE you get to make the choice
.

If not for that, I could have justified it in my mind.

Anyway, I've done both good Ciri endings, both good Skellige endings, and all three Geralt endings. I think that covers all viable options.

And the Wolf armour is awesome, even though you never get to use the Basic version.

About Djikstra, I let him kill them in my first playtrhough, because in TW2 I followed Iorveth' s path. But in this I won't allow him. :p

Not quite part of a quest, but yes, it's in the game. I only found him once, on my second playthrough. You can stumble on it by accident while doing other quests, or you can go looking for him.

He's in the sewers in Novigrad. Location here: http://imgur.com/a/LZikB

Got to Skellige right on time I see. That armor looks much better than the Skellige gambeson. Probably heavy though.

I'm a bit jealous of how much you guys get to play, but I'm grateful I get to play at all.

Wait Dijkstra murders Roche and Thaler??? Is this after you help them get rid of Radovid? Can you stop him from doing that? I want Radovid dead but I don't want Roche to die :(

Just finished my first complete playthrough (not totally done because there are a ton of caches in Skellige, and it is tough selling all the crap you can collect).

I restarted at around "The Bloody Baron" at around 70 hours in, which means this playthrough took around 420 hours, according to the in game counter. (According to Galaxy I'd played for 15 hours... I think it might be a bit confuddled there, it also missed around a third of the achievements, though I don't really care about that... ).
Seldom used fast travel, had a reduced boat speed (halved which improved animation behaviour, if not sailing logic), and explored all the 'marks' on the map, rather than only the map icons... so those rocks/buildings/cliff clusters etc and road ends that all suggested "here be dragons"... Lots of additional mini quests and other interesting bits 'n bobs from just poking about. (including 2 places of power I've not identified on any online guides).

No idea, just steal the image from the official The Witcher facebook page.

You can stop Dijstra, but this means you have to kill him.

Fitsfight stupidity... I'm level 26 and Greag level 14 kick me out in 3 punches.... WHY? dodges, feints... nothing is good unless I low the game difficult level! Oh... tht if my Geralt don't get stocked, locked or simply incapacitated to move.

Or this mini-game is just designed for controller instead KB?

In fist fighting, counters are overpowered, use them.

You push parry button when the enemy's life bar is flashing and you can counter attack, just like with sword.
