Severe camera problems

I'm experiencing some really troubling problems with the games third person camera, both on foot and on horse. Whenever I move the camera around in a slower pace the whole screen starts twitching in a really annoying manner. It seems to collide with the walking animation as well. That's when it's the most severe; especially when I walk inside. It takes me out of the experience completely, so I don't think I'll be playing the game any further until it's resolved

I cannot for the life of me think that this is the actual release experience. Please tell me this is something that is only happening on my end? Perhaps a problem with my controller or something else? I've tried changing the camera speed settings in the game with no result.

Thats what I noticed in the PS4 Version I bought, its like the camera is stuttering when you press the stick gently. I already made a thread about that. What Version are you playing ?

It's a mess of judder. Same with the Xbox version.

Witcher 3 is unplayable like this. Hopefully there's some hint at a possible fix soon.

Same here ...on ps4. And it is not a frames problem. the screen jerks only when rotating the camera slowly.

I'm playing the 1.02 version. I actually didn't realize that this was the day one patch. O'm quite shocked tbh, considering how many obvious and almost gamebreaking problems there are with the game.

I just can't enjoy it with these camera issues. It looks horrible and disorienting.

I have exactly the same problem on PC. I checked it on both of my controllers. Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers both make camera stutters when right stick is moved gently.
To be precise it happens on decreasing camera speed movement - in other words when analog stick is returning to the neutral position. it looks like movement stops for a fraction of a second before reducing camera movement speed instead of fluent decrease.

I'm 100% sure it's not FPS problem as I use frame counter on and it never drops below 60FPS during those controller/camera related stuttering moments.

The game is truly unplayable because of it!

yeah i thought it was my pad too, i reseted it and everything, but ive got same problem, but least alot of other people are speaking up now, i hope they tell us when this will be fixed, all i want to do is play but i just cant.

thing is its not lag, i can tell the frame rate is fine, so its some weird problem

Happens the same to me ( PS4 )...thought it was my controller getting bad contacts when moving the right stick... it´s always when i turn camera slowlly...it breaks the all experience and beautty of the game...hope a fix very soon....can´t play like this too.

Just a question, is anyone with this forum using a disc-version or is it all downloads? I got feedback from a few people on Facebook, all on PS4, all on disc, and NONE are experiencing similar issues...

Yep it's happening with me as well. PS4. There are so many movement issues with Gerald and Roach as well I've noticed.

I got mine on disc and it's happening exactly the same as everyone else on PS4. I hope they patch these issues asap.

More Videos, trying to use v.1.00 (without day one patch), then with the patch and all other options I could think of.......................................................................................................... Also found that it happens strongest when manually moving the camera slowly, much less when letting the game move the camera, like on horseback turning only the horse or swimming in circles, and is almost imperceptible when using the guided riding (holding the canter button on horseback to follow the road)........................................

don't hold your breath.. I just updated to 1.03 on PC and this particular stuttering (with slow camera movement on controller) is still here.​
