Severe NPC pop-in and AA not working in 1.05

As the title says, NPCs are popping in right in front of me left and right and the game looks downright painful without AA. Someone also mentioned that the textures may be worse. Not sure about that. They might have just thought it was because of the lack of AA. I have a gtx 970, fx 4350, and 16GB RAM on windows 7 x64.

AA is the same as before, and NPC pop-in was the absolute same in 1.04

While I agree that these issues must be fixed, it's not their fault that you paid overpriced GPU. I have 3 year old $2000 PC, most of which was RAM & CPU, that I never intended to use mostly for gaming, yet the game runs fine.

I too have been having the anti-aliasing problem. Does not matter if AA is on or off. I'm also getting stuttering when I run around but I've had that for a while. Also GTX 970.

Have you tried to force AA in NVidia control panel? I did, looks better, but it might be just placebo effect, because it didn't affect performance much and I didn't look closely.

The lack or at least reduction of AA is most apparent in the trees and foliage. If you turn sharpening off and lower textures to medium(which removes the added aliasing from the recently added Mipmap Bias) you see an improvement in AA. It's still not as good as before the patch but it is better. Of course I don't think it's worth it for the worse textures.

I forced MFAA but it didn't do anything. Forcing FXAA does seem to make it a bit better but the temporal aliasing is still really bad. I've also noticed that the stuttering and pop-in are the worst it's ever been.

AA is working fine here, and NPC pop in is the same as in patch 1.04 for me. Delete your user ini, restart the game and re-enter your settings.

Ok I did all that and it's still the same. I'm just gonna have to wait till they fix all this.
