Some countries like Australia have quite strict laws and would simply ban CDPR from selling if it goes too far.

Sex in this manner is cheap, and a pathetic way to draw attention. V acts like a stripper while alone in her own apartment, and don't expect me to believe she brushes her teeth like that. Is the male character going to do the same? Would be ridiculous.
Give me a real passionate love scene and make me care about my characters partner as much as I care about my own character and if you can do that, that is real art and you don't need to show any bits and pieces to do that.
And I really scoff at the devs claim that having all this content is 'mature'. There is nothing 'mature' about being cheap, or appealing to people who don't have an active sex life. One of the reasons I got put off initially with Cyberpunk 2077 was the depiction of women, they all look like sex workers, that alienates me because I'm not into the hentai/sim-sex stuff, I don't play games to 'get off' like that or seek that.

I'm not sure...I haven't really seen much about it. I kinda figured they might since in the Cyberpunk pen and paper game, in that kind of dystopian setting sexual hang-ups were few and far between, pretty much anything outside of pedophilia goes.

So make it modular so it can be turned off for places with anti-freedom of expression laws like Australia or Saudi Arabia, much like some WW2 games have a version for Germany that removes swastikas due to them being banned under German law (due to some presumed magical ability to make people crazy at the mere sight of them).

I guess that scene is there to introduce the player to what everyday life is like for V in his/her apartment. It is probably early in the game (the character stats screen does show level 2), maybe the first "act" of the main story begins with the quest that takes up the majority of the demo.
I'm fully support nudity, sex and sexual orientation choices in this game, it's an RPG, it's for adults.
But it should have a censorship system what you can activate (perhaps with a multiple leveled scale, from showing everithing through japan porn to no sex scenes/options at all) in the menu (maybe on pair with the same for violence ), even with a possibility for parental control password. Because be sure, kids will play with it too, and this way the game could be more friendly for them. That means more sales, I guess. And more work too, so it's just an idea.

I just hope that scene where someone is in V's bed was a choice for the player. Personally, I don't want a romance for my V or any 1 night stand.
