You're right. A slide whistle that isn't followed by a "boing-oing-oing" is a slide whistle failing to live up to its true potential.
Witcher 2 was basically perfect although I would've been fine with them rendering Geralt's penis and showing penetration as well. Witcher 3 dialed things back which I was not a fan of - most scenes became cookie cutter, and covered up the woman's lower region with underwear (thankfully mods fixed that).
And obviously I'm only speaking for myself, but for me it's not even about the "porn" angle of it - it's all about the realism for me - just as I want full blood and gore with the combat, I want full uncut sex and romance scenes. I'm generally not the type that goes to the brothel a whole lot - I aim for more meaningful relationships in my playing of RPGs, so I'm all about scenes where my dude can kiss the girl he's going after and actually "romance" her, not just get her clothes off for a quick roll in the hay. It's about the overall experience being as realistic as possible.

Something like the scene from Naked Gun 2 1/2. Kissing then fading into visual euphemisms like trains going into tunnels, fireworks and cannons shooting.
Personally i think sex is an important aspect to the cyberpunk life, I think more variety and probably full penetration would be great to see.
Perhaps I can shed some light on the question.: According to a source I looked up, possible gay/lesbian relationships ARE included in the game as there are a good number of bi-sexual persons in the game. So, one would figure, that such scenes would be available too.I just read the news that this game will have full nudity, but will there be full frontal nudity of mens or only womens?

I am gay gamer and I hope this game also has content for gays and not only for heterosexual mens (like TW3)

I would like to see sex/adult situations outside of romance and one night that have real world affects and consequences. Using fallout 2 as an example, you could sleep with the farmers daughter, but that led to getting caught and having a shotgun wedding. There was a case where a woman asks you to save her husband, but in the options you had an option to ask for sex in payment instead of money, you could be a prostitute or even a porn star. Stuff like that or even something like the james bond movies where 007 seduces and sleeps around to get what he wants. Being a prostitute for the lo life and a high class escort for the rich to get money would be kind of cool. Even becoming a porn star (or braindance porn?) and getting recognized on the street would be funny. Maybe find a corp sugar momma/daddy that gives you money for services. Seducing a client, their spouse or other members to get what you need would be cool, but should have risks of getting caught if your not careful.
Mass Effect had quick time events during the sex scenes? Nani the hell? CDPR made a huge mistake in announcing the romances this early. It's going to attract a lot of unwanted questions and discussion as far as they're concerned. Not that I have anything against romances in games per se. Hopefully you have the patience of saint CDPR.
Male penis might be difficult in most jurisdictions as you cannot depict them in a state of arousal (ie the penis cannot be shown erect) without it being regarded as pornography (which means there are big restrictions on its sale even in the west). Its pretty amusing, apparently there are court cases with judges getting a protractor to measure the angle of the penis relative to the body to determine whether it is too erect and is therefore porn
Good point, although I don't think there are any AAA adult only rating game out there (at least not in the west), so instead of being AO rating game might hurt the sales, it could also create a "Deadpool" effect where general audience wants to see the movie more when it's rated R. Just imagine the headline "Cyberpunk 2077 is an adult only game" that alone would bring in so much attentions and free PR, and I might be wrong but I think most people who brought CPR game are 18+ anyway.
What I'm hoping for in terms of Sex scenes is more like what Witcher 2 had, there was plenty of variety in the actual scenes and they were all well done while in Witcher 3 we just saw the same animations over and over.
If we're able bang everything that moves in Cyberpunk as a male or female and it's just the same animations over and over or even "fade to black" with no buffs, debuffs or anything, then it'll be just as pointless as it was in Witcher 3 and become another wasted game mechanic that'll be barely used.
I love sex, nudity and fan service in my games and even I don't bother going for the hookers in the whorehouses anymore since they all give the same animations.
I think that the one night stand scenes in Cyberpunk should have some simple but varied 5-10 second scenes that look just as casual as the sex itself, but the serious relationships have the high quality and meaningful scenes like Yen's, Shani's and Syanna's scenes, even some humorous ones like Triss's.

yeah, but deadpool jumped comic book movies from pg-13 to R. Going from M to AO is more like going from R (what M has always effectively been) to unrated (essentially, in this case, x rated).
The reason you'll never see an x rated blockbuster isnt just because not that many people would ACTUALLY be interested or because we're all prudes, but because most theaters wouldnt distribute it anyways.
same goes for games. go check your locak game stop or walmart or best buy or EB games or whatever for an AO games.
no major retailer would carry it. so you'd HAVE to download it on GOG or Steam or the console's services. that would kill a TON of sales off the bat.
i think you overestimate how many people would be intrigued based on a rating.
not to mention, this would get the game straight banned in many places anyways.
