Why is it so important what is on TV and games needing to follow? What benefit does CDPR have to turn this game into a full blown porno? I've never had a person give me a valid reason for the game why this needs to be implemented. People want full XXX porn with zero censorship for the sake of being edgy, nothing about it serves to improve gameplay, and that includes going for Cyberpunk and its dark tones.

Witcher's simplistic sexual scenes at least had context, this does not.

It is just immersion. Come on, you are in a dirty and degradated distopic future, with a lot of shit on the streets, drugs, mafia.. and sex scares you? Men allways want sex. And it's a nonsense that you can kill a lot of people, but sex need to be censored.
Business mans close treats with prostitutes.. that could be a good context, if you want. Is not mature Cyberpunk? So, bad people could extorsion prostitutes, that's another context.

Heh, I never tried it but OSEX actually looks very tasteful from what I've seen, even while being completely explicit.

Something like that in an unmodded game would be revolutionary.

You just romance whoever you want. If they are romanceable, and they have the sexual orientation that would make them see you as desirable, you can pursue that.

The man in question was a one-night stand, but there will also be relationships. Either way, you could choose to only have sex with females as female V, or only as males as male V. Straight/gay romance will not be forced, it's all optional.

I doubt you choose your orientation early on, though. Just go with whoever you want, and ignore those you don't care for.

I see that as the oppossite as you say. If you have a couple, one night or long term, it is not respectful if sex is censored. In real life sex exists. Why can you kill a lot of people, and enjoy the gore, but if you have a relationship sex must be censored? If the game tries to be immersive, censoring it is the no respectful way.

if the gore doesn't fit the tone of the characters, story, and world then its just as exploitive and gratuitous. presentation is everything. Gore works fine in Doom that wouldn't go over well in say, Uncharted. If uncharted suddenly allowed you to cut people in half willy nilly, it would feel wrong and cheesy but it's perfectly fine in Doom.

Aren't you asking about context? I give you a context. This is an RPG, and the world needs to feel alive. If I see a brothel in the streets, or a game saloon and I can't interact with them, I don't feel the game alive. Maybe it's stupid for you but not for me. If I see a game saloon and I want to play billiard, if I can, I feel the world alive. If not, it is just cosmethic. Same with sex.

1) because one may be justified by the game world. I already said if it doesn't service the world the violence is gratuitous. Joel shanking zombies and getting his face bitten off by clickers in The Last of Us service the world. Joel literally exploding heads like rotten melons with a stomp was stupid and didn't fit the tone or world of the game. Neither is more graphic, but one felt out of place and exploitive where the other didn't.

2) as explained before, because you can only do so much on an M rating. They're not making an AO game. Contrary to popular belief, CD Projekt actually likes money.
