Sex scenes just skip

I don't know why, but everytime I get into a "romantic session" with a character, it just skips and goes back to talking to the NPC. In Flotsam, the sex scenes with the whores worked perfectly well. It started happening in chapter 2, in Vergen. First with the elf girl I saved in Flotsam, then with the succubus after completing the quest involving her. Any idea why this is happening?

It does sound like a censored version, or it might be that your computer is extremely conservative...


Where did you get your edition from and where do you live?

Check if you have succubuss.dzip and elf_flotsam.dzip in your CookedPC directory.

It does sound like Australian ed... if not, your pc is very mean for doing that.

I understand that quite a few non australian players got screwed over with the auto patch misidentifying their region/location properly. I was one of them and I live in Canada.
They patching methods for those that have a physical copy really are less than professional.
I'm going to have to uninstall/reinstall for the 3rd time because of it!!

Yep, same here. Russia though. Auto updating keeps "censoring" my game.
Since to "uncensor" it you just need to put two files in your CookedPC folder:

Just wanted to mention for the OP that sometimes putting those files into the CookedPC folder results in you having to save the elven woman in chapter 1 again to re-trigger that particular scene, but that seems to be a pretty rare occurrence

We should really sticky those files or upload them to the nexus or something.

No, you should definitely have them. Just download them from the links provided above and copy them to your CookedPC-folder. That should solve the problem.

It's not supposed to happen, no. Just download the files and place them in the CookedPC folder, and you should be all set. : )

Yeah, the succubus skipped for me as well. All the rest worked as they should though. I was thinking that seeing as how it was just the one instance, that it was probably a glitch.
