Sexual cut scenes, prostitutes and whore houses will be able to be avoided?

I was asked this question on another website and thought I would come here to get an answer for him.

"Does anyone know of ALL sexual cut scenes, prostitutes and whore houses will be able to be avoided? Or will I be forced to participate?
I'd like to play this game but be the above conditions are a NO compromise for me."

Well all i can say is that the game start with Geralt with a naked lady, there is no sexual intercourse in this segment but you can't avoid it, as for the rest we don't know for sure but all the sex scenes were avoidable in the witcher 2.

I have seen quite a few press (X) to skip button in cut scenes and I can't image that direct sex scenes aren't skipable. Of course you will see the beginning but you can then fast press a button to skip it.

However I doubt there's a setting in the game that let you skip them entirely

Participating in sexual activities, can 100% be avoided it if the previous games are anything to go by.

As far as I do understand that you (or the questioner) only want to avoid actual sex and anything similar, right?
So you don't want your character to have sex in the game.
I am pretty sure that is 100% possible.

i mean no disrespect mate but this game may not be for you, this is a mature rpg with solid fondations on story telling, gore and sex. trying to avoid one of those is not to emerge yourself in the witcher world.

Notice that the OP states he's asking for someone else, not himself.

Anyhow, I think the Arabian version does censor sex scenes and violence, so that person could look into that.

I am mildly curious as to the reasons, though. I did see someone ask a similar question on another forum, because they didn't want their young child to see nudity while dad was playing the game, which struck myself and others as quite odd considering the amount of violence and gore in the game that was apparently okay for the aforementioned young child to see.

I'd imagine you can avoid anything that is not directly related to the game's plot. If it's tied to the story, then it's gonna happen. But otherwise, if the previous games are anything to go by, you can avoid it.

Let's face it, the game is rated M. I'd also like to believe it's targeted at a mature audience, not only because the game has tits, gore, and swear words.

I'd like to think that it takes a mature player to appreciate what the story is about, and it's characters. I mean really appreciate what's going on. On a younger player, a lot of stuff might go straight over their heads, imo.

Yes, he wants to avoid them altogether if he can. Don't know why but I am guessing either a problem with porn of religious reasons.

I take no offense, this game is completely for me, I am in love with the series, have the books as well, this truly is a question from a person on another website that I am trying to get answers for and already have.

There's no porn in TW3. Nudes, drugs, blood, strong language... all that you forbid your children to see, but no porn at all..
And, yes, if a European game has a lable like the pic below and yhou don't want to find any of that in the game while you are playing... don't play it.

Could someone tell why people have problems with nudity but are ok with blood, gore, violence? Yeah, I know many of us like brutal/horror movies, games, TV-series, it's in the human race, but what about nudity? And now I mean mainly US.. Honestly, when I think gore I think MK, not TW3. In TW3 when you cut someone in half his body is a red blotch without any unsettling details. You aren't faced with brains, entrails, bones and what have you.
