Shame on CDPR, lies and downgrades.

I've followed the graphical downgrade issue without caring too much, but after the statement from CDPR, I've changed my mind, there is dirty advertisement and shameful behaviour from CDPR.

They showed and advertised as "In Game" footage, scenes that they later said came from an era where "there was no game at all" so is useless to do a comparison with those standards, and basically we have to "get over it".
We can live with the actual The Witcher 3 graphics? Yes
Does it looks awesome? No, doesn't matter how much you tweak it will not live to his expectations.

But what really bothers me is that on the website thewitcher.com the background video you see in the home, shows beta footage, from the Wild Hunt General DOF scene, to the fire stream, and even other little things looks just not like in the game, it looks too good from that homepage.

I've seen a lot of Utra PC footage, but it can't match that graphic quality from the homepage, nowhere near.

You know what? That's perpetuating not a mistake, but a strategy, dirty shameful strategy.
CDPR lied to us as loyal fans of the Witcher saga, but it keeps lying to everyone interested in the game, as of today.

That's really bad from a developer studio that I've always thought was respectful to his customers, but those are facts, we have been lied to, and they keep casually lying.

Good job, CDPR.

GTA V? 'nuff said?
We could not get good graphics from the console port, and Rockstar delayed and improved the version for the PC Release.
But, again, there is no E3 2013 Witcher 3, that's obvious, PS4 and Xbox One are the reason but this doesn't chages the lies they put out, and does not change the fact that starting an advertising campain with in-game footage where you didn't even have the hardware base of the consoles is just wrong.

And that video from the homepage needs to be put down.

No, the graphic engine is completely different, you will never reach that level of details.
It's sad but is true, I'm not saying in this thread I hate the Witcher 3, I absolutely love it, but seriously, if you said that those footage does not reflect the game, why still use it?

I hate to say it, but it's more than just the graphics that have been compromised in making the game available for consoles.

He said not only the graphics has been downgraded, and you quote a GTX 970 and max settings?
There are other aspects that does not match the old trailers, the atmosphere and the overall quality dropped, not only graphics.

A year and a half to be exact. Also, no studio in the world save for maybe Blizzard, Valve and Riot Games has the money and power to operate like Rockstar does. It's a stupid comparison and has always been dumb.

OP needs to stop crying and play the damn game because graphics don't make a quest great.

I wanted to share my opinion, and the trailer from the home for me is an issue, that's false advertising in the home of thewitcher official site.

I think that they should create a Downgrade sticked post and end now with this spam of "opinion" posts that makes dificult to find usefull information in this forum.
