Shame on CDPR, lies and downgrades.
I've followed the graphical downgrade issue without caring too much, but after the statement from CDPR, I've changed my mind, there is dirty advertisement and shameful behaviour from CDPR.
They showed and advertised as "In Game" footage, scenes that they later said came from an era where "there was no game at all" so is useless to do a comparison with those standards, and basically we have to "get over it".
We can live with the actual The Witcher 3 graphics? Yes
Does it looks awesome? No, doesn't matter how much you tweak it will not live to his expectations.
But what really bothers me is that on the website thewitcher.com the background video you see in the home, shows beta footage, from the Wild Hunt General DOF scene, to the fire stream, and even other little things looks just not like in the game, it looks too good from that homepage.
I've seen a lot of Utra PC footage, but it can't match that graphic quality from the homepage, nowhere near.
You know what? That's perpetuating not a mistake, but a strategy, dirty shameful strategy.
CDPR lied to us as loyal fans of the Witcher saga, but it keeps lying to everyone interested in the game, as of today.
That's really bad from a developer studio that I've always thought was respectful to his customers, but those are facts, we have been lied to, and they keep casually lying.
Good job, CDPR.
