'nuff said, from this end at least. There's no fun debating christian fundamentalists. You know why? The only way they argue is by opening their holy bible and uttering "thus said the lord", as if that is the ultimate argument winner :D

I'm the bad guy because I explained why Shani isn't what the Witcher game evolves around :p

Perhaps you missed the part where Geralt is a character from a book? How you got religion mixed up with Geralt is beyond me.

If that's what you got from my messages, I guess I'm not the only one here having trouble understanding other people's statements :DOh well... at least I don't refer to a book every 2 sentences.

See, when someone keeps ripping-on the person they are having a debate with by making comments like "well, at least I don't do this or that" it means they have no valid arguement to back-up what they are saying so they have resorted to personal attacks. These don't help prove your arguement in any way. Anyways, I'm done in this thread. It has gone wayyyy off base and I'm not going to trade insults with you.

Well... now we're talking! You're getting closer to the truth by the minute my friend :DI could begin by point out, for example, that both are immaterial concepts, i.e. the product of one's immagination, ideas, not absolute truths that cannot be questioned, challenged, altered in any shape or form, even for artistic purposes.Nevermind if there's some (perceived) inconsistency/discontinuity between 1st and 2nd game. Nevermind if your main love interest drops out of sight by some sort of 'deus ex machina' plot device. Nevermind if that's going to upset some people. Or, does it even matter that you're forced to team up precisely with the one woman you didn't pick? Hell no! The important thing is to follow the book. Because we all know what Geralt should and shouldn't be about, the way he should act in every instance, and this has been revealed only to those of us who have read the books.

You already have. Or do you perhaps consider "Wow, after reading the last two posts I'm half-tempted to jump off a cliff" some sort of compliment?

Please don't lock, it just got off track with personal attacks. I think it's an important topic to discuss for TW2. We all love the game, we are fans, but we should be critical too.

@ slimgrin you are right it would not be fare to the other member here if I lock this topic But I will remind those party involved to refrain from personal attack is had no place here and if it dose keep up will take steps I understand its hard to keep how we feel about matter and trying to make a point in a open forum but personal attack is no way to make a point it just defeats ones point.

No, she was waiting for Geralt last time I finished the game :D I remember last we talked Geralt said I have some errands (which is kicking Javed's butt) or something to give that effect and I was looking forward to meet her but only thing I met was the credits. It's cruel what devs did I tell ya! In the books the world wasn't revolving around Shani. True. However, the game was another story completely.

I might have said earlier..somewhere here that I wouldn't post in this thread again...But Geralt was shown leaving Vizima alone. Well...with Roach, yes. But no other human company. And one more thing...Maybe someone should start an opinion thread on why TW game fans hate Mr. Sapkowski and his works so much. It really baffles me sometimes. Please do not respond to this comment unless it's in a different thread titled "Why I hate the original Witcher Universe so much" or "Why reading the original saga makes your opinion less important"I mean, C'mon. We are trying to discuss whether or not Shani will be in the next game, or what are the consequences if she is/isn't. And it becomes the regular "hate the bookworm" thing? Hasn't it happened in this thread already? But I guess it's a credit to the game actually, that some players are so deeply in love with one of the (virtual) characters, (infatuated/obsessed) that they're ready to scream their heads off at anyone (real person) trying to discuss the situation with them. So...well done Devs...I guess. And bring Shani back, or some of these fanatics might actually turn up at your homes and kill your family for taking Shani away from them.@e-ahmetThat emoticon link has expired...@SeekerSorry mate. But I cannot stand by and watch this. Ban me if you want to.

Well, as insignificant as book-Shani may be... Like it or not, she was fairly important in the first game.Doesn't mean she has to be in TW2, but the game shouldn't act like Triss was the only option either.

This is about plot holes, not obsession with digital NPC's. CD red left a gaping plot hole in the end of TW1, by letting you romance one of two women, and then not trying in the least to show the results. They were not just women for you to f*ck, they were major personalities in the game. That means it was a failure on their part, plain and simple. A glaring failure.

To my knowledge it has not yet been confirmed she is out of the game. Though you may interpret some comments in that direction. And even if she is out, so what? It's not like there was a wedding at the end of the Witcher, they had kids and lived happily every after. Apart from having sex twice, the closest they got to a relationship was Geralt (possibly) sending her a letter (it was up to you if you did or not). And that goes for Triss too. It's not like TW2 will leave a gaping hole if Shani isn't in it. Nor any plotholes. It will be nice if she's in it, I agree, but it won't be a "ME2 Liara" moment if Shani isn't there.

At least Liara was in ME2 even if she was completely irrelevant to the game. And it’s nothing to do with whether we like Shani or not, she was in the game and the issue was not resolved.
