V: Looks at Shelly with a dumbfounded look, she can't believe what she has just heard "What the F___ did he just call me!"

Shelly: "Oh... by the way you're on speaker, and V just heard everything you said"

Muffled voice on phone* "Wh@t! geezuz! I was jus messin around I, I, I didn't mean anythin"

V: "Well guess what you braindead gonk! I heard what you said, and it sounded pretty sincere to me! You just can't take no for an answer can you!? Now I'm gonna come pay you a visit for not taking my warning the last time we met and for what you just called me. What was it again? A cold heartless B!T@#? Shelly said It's over, so It's over! just like your ability to chew your food will be. See you soon!"

A lot has been said about the Panam ending path where you chip in with the Aldecaldos and they help you access Mikoshi through a Maglev tunnel under construction. It always seemed to me to be a bit of a stretch. That this loose band of nomads would throw everything in with V and risk it all to help. Even given the fact that V had assisted them in past quests and encounters. To me, it felt a bit disproportionate in scale.

However, in completing one of the NCPD scanner hustles in Westbrook, at the location below,

V discovers a couple of shards that indicate the Aldecaldos may have already been planning a raid on a Maglev tunnel. Helping V may have been just a "casus belli" they needed.
