In doing one of the NCPD assault missions in the badlands, V thought it would be best to take to the high ground to get a good look at the tactical situation. In doing so, she ended up re-creating an iconic scene from John Ford's "The Searchers" (George Lucas ended up paying homage to it in Attack of the Clones).

Originally, she completed the mission during the day:

Then the director wanted to try to recreate the scene during the night, but the weather wouldn't co-operate. Day for night worked better in the original movie:

I thought there would have been a campfire, but alas there wasn't one. I guess the wraiths wanted to avoid detection. They didn't count on V's Kiroshi optics!

Weird, I missed it too first time, or I just left the shop without talking to the rozzers. It adds a genius spin to the trophy title I Am The Law ... there was me thinking it was a straight Judge Dredd reference involving working for the cops. Evidently it works on deeper levels than that, clever clever! (y)
