A few weeks ago I posted the background I wrote for my V, and I wanted to post it again since I've made a few changes to it. I hope that's okay!
Background:
Valeriya Savaryna is 21 years old, born on Friday the 13th, August, 2055 in Kyiv, Ukraine. When she was 6 years old, Valeriya moved with her family to Night City, where she grew up as a streetkid in Japantown. After the death of her parents when she was 8 years old, Valeriya was taken in by Hideyoshi Kenshin, a swordsmaster from Harima Province, Japan. She was subsequently trained in traditional Japanese swordsmanship and martial arts; real training for most of her childhood, not a digital skill shard inserted into her brain. She's fluent in English, Ukrainian, Japanese and Russian.
She anglicized her first name to Valerie at this point, and eventually started going by just "V". Her main goal in life during this time was joining the Tyger Claws as a street soldier, which Hideyoshi tried to dissuade her from doing. But Valeriya was stubborn, and she managed to do when she was only 15. After about a year as a low-rank gangoon streetrunner, she met Jackie Welles. He had left the Valentinos about 6 years prior when he was 19 after being injured in a gang shootout. After the death of Hideyoshi, Jackie managed to convince the young Valeriya to walk away from the Tyger Claws. This was easier said than done; she had to make a deal with Wakako Okada, who would let her leave the gang in return for completing an assassination gig...her first kill. Valeriya was successful, and Wakako honored the deal.
Jackie became like an older brother to her as well as her best friend, and she grew up in Mama Welles household.
A number of years later, Valeriya still wanted respect and power, and did not fully understand the value of family. She managed to land a job at Arasaka, until the day her superior sent her on an unsanctioned mission in an attempt to grab more power. Before she could even get started, she was fired, every aspect of her corporate employment burned.
After attempting the Heist, losing Jackie in the process, meeting Silverhand and having the Relic try to take over her brain, she's now trying to save herself while helping the good and innocent of Night City...and killing as many evil shitheads as she can in the process. And then, she plans to join the Aldecaldos.
Nicknames:
Valeriya's got a few different nicknames around Night City, since people talk. These are names that the regular inhabitants of Night City made up for her without knowing she goes by V.
In Watson and Japantown, she's primarily known as the Ghost of Kabuki. Amongst the Tyger Claws, she's known as Sakura no ha ( 桜の刃 ), meaning The Cherry Blossom Blade. To some Tyger Claws she's known as Sakura no meinu ( 桜の雌犬 ), meaning The Cherry Blossom Bitch due to leaving the gang, which was seen as a betrayal, as well as due to the sheer amount of them she's killed.
In Heywood and Santo Domingo, she's known as La Discípula, meaning The Disciple. She used to be known as La Discípula de la Santa de la Sangre, but they shortened it.
In City Centre and Charter Hill, she's generally known as "a criminal" due to the heavy corporate presence.
In the Badlands, she's known simply as Blackbird. This one is my personal favourite, for some reason.
Amongst the Slavic population of Night City, she's known as Voron ( Ворон ), which means Raven.
Weapons:
Valeriya's main weapon is Satori ( 悟り ), recovered from the roof of Konpeki Plaza after the death of Saburo Arasaka and claimed as Valeriya's own blade. Shortly afterwards she ordered the forging of a matching tanto in order to form a complete daishō. She named the tanto Jin ( 仁 ), after one of the Eight Virtues of Bushido.

Sorry I don´t know how to make such cool awesome screenshots because I cannot find a camera function in this game. But here is my V, later changed the eye to black eyes with illuminated iris.

This my version of a nomad female V. I kinda went over with the customization, as I was thinking " what would a nomad that is outside all day look like? " and the pictures are the result! I'm a level 10 ( never even started " The Gig " yet. Let me know what you all think?

The beginnings the middle and maybe.. The final form. These are All the same character.
Roleplaying as a V Nomad, living a life as a pacifist, and as a secret vigilante when not doing missions. No weapons used, silent takedowns only used on enemies, minimal quickhacking to deal with cameras mostly. She doesn't any loot items either except for weapons so she can disassemble and reduce the number of guns that are hurting people in this crime ridden city. Leaves defensive gear and money behind for the citizens in need, that they can help themselves with once she's cleared out an area.
That's a very nice, wholesome V, and she looks great!
My V is a vigilante during her free time as well, albeit quite a bit more violent. She often prowls around Night City, searching for innocent civilians to save and protect...or finding violent criminals to kill, which she considers "preemptively defending the innocent". She does not kill all criminals, however, and mostly kills those wanted for especially heinous crimes such as sexual assault, human trafficking, first-degree murder and so on.
