Hey everyone, I just bought a Steam digital key from g2play.net since I couldn't afford it from another source.

Now my question is: are they a legitimate source am I prone to be in trouble?

Well, the thing is I think this game deserves all the support it can get, but my funds are rather limited for the time being, so not much choice, is there?

Anyway, I was hoping I would find someone who might've chosen the same digital retailer and share its experience on the matter.

Im not sure about this but I would advise not to buy keys from anywhere other than places that you know are connected to CDPR. Unless you bought it from thewitcher.com or gog.com i wouldnt recommend getting it. It could quite possibly be a pirated key

From what I read so far the site is buying masses of keys from third world countries, which is why it's so cheap. Some work perfectly, some have problems to make them work, I guess you'll have to try and see. Seems a bit shady. If I were you I'd buy from steam directly to be honest

Starting with the 1.1 patch all DRM was stripped from the game so no cd-keys will be needed or used . The game will be registered using your forum login info .

They meant a key that lets you activate the game on Steam. It's possible to find it cheaper because Russian version is much cheaper, I think.

OP, no idea. Did you activate it yet?

Thanks for clarifying . Didn`t even think that he was trying to register on Steam .

Some Steam games ARE also legitimately sold through third parties; you can buy Steam games on Amazon, for example. Since you've already bought the thing, I guess you just need to try it and see.

Yep, that is correct.

It was a RU version.

Oddly enough, everything is in English and in good order, I might add.

Game was activated via Steam just fine, game is running and all.

I also registered my copy

I think it cost me something around 20 euros.

Wel it's cheaper than buying ot through steam or gog have fun playing the game
