Should I feel bad for the developers a little?

Should I feel bad for the developers a little?

This thought crosses my mind now and then (and it doesn't just pertain to CDPR); but I wonder how many people think whether developers can actually enjoy their game as much as gamers can?

This stems from the fact that we did not create the game, we do not know all the quests and most things are still a secret to us.

Christopher Nolan may enjoy creating movies and investing into the pool of human creativity; but the viewers are the ones getting the actual satisfaction of unraveling plot intricacies.

This thinking probably does not apply to an artist for instance, because an artist can enjoy looking at his or her painting as much (if not more) as anyone else. But I think it's a different dynamic when it comes to the creation of games/movies/books.

If I was one of the developers, I would have wanted to know as less as possible about the game as I could. Miles did say that he did not know all the quests, but I am assuming most people at CDPR know the overall storyline and such.

I hope I am expressing myself clearly.

Anyone else feel the same way?
