Ps4 pro user. I haven't ran in to any game crashing issues yet. But I'm on board with the rest of the posters, graphically it's crap. I've seen NPC's floating, NPC's partially stuck in walls etc. I haven't really messed with any settings pertaining to graphics yet. I run in to an issue where when I'm crouched and try to stand up the screen flickers, almost like checkerboarding. Not real sure what that is. I'm sure after several patches/updates a lot of bugs/issues will be addressed but I just hope it's before I struggle through the entire game that way.
O, O, OH I know. how about a gun, that the moment you pick up, you drop, and are only able to store it by pressing and holding the "press triangle to equip" and then you cannot use it anyway because if you draw it you drop it.
My disappointment is immense also..
Playing on ps4 pro and still looks like shit.So many crashes,settings keep resetting every time i open the game,even after the new update..ridiculous.
also why not let us remap buttons??

It's funny how just two days after game release they rlease a patch 17gb patch that suposedly fixes all these problems. well, at least most of them.

Imo it's not only the bugs, but also the enormous amount of content that's lacking, like side activities and the overwhelmingly subpar char customization. It's actually ridiculous not being able to CHANGE THE HAIR OF MY CHARACTER in a game with so much apeal to 'customization'!
I overlooked the simplistic customization menu, overlooked for a very short time the UMBEARABLE lack of a third person view (hint: don't make a character customization in a game if you intend to remove the ability to see the character algost entirely from the game), overlooked the fact that I can't change buttons layouts, can't see how much progress I have in-game, status of actitvities of my character, I mean, there is so much left! And some of these things are in EVERY game! I had Watchdogs vibes with the hacking sections, they are not so different. Animations and motion capture is really impressive, but thats all!! Other than that, there is not much to say it is impressive. NEVER say you will release a gaming changing experience unless you make a game that is actually very good. Really, I can't even chose which clothes I can buy, I have to earn point so the vendor 'unlocks' them to me (???). Two days in and I'm tired to pretend it was a good choice to buy this game. It in no way deserves a game of the year award. I NEVER had issues with ghost of tsushima (and it made my character customization useful by allowing me to see the different sets and mixes of my character during gameplay).
So, for it to be one authentically enjoyable game, I believe that first, after bug fixing, they should add:
-tattoo parlors
-barber shops (what kind of city doesn't have it)
-side activities like gambling and other stuff
-A THIRD PERSON VIEW
-fix that driving, it's ridiculous how long it takes to stop after hitting the brakes
-more buttom layouts
-game progress menu
-screen size
And I won't ever talk about vehicle customization, because I imagine it'd be way too much for a team to do that in any time span. But really, they just looked lazy or unorganized/confused, because after seven year post-announcement, it definitely isn't a well rounded game (and I don't see why this couldn't work by any means in third person. What is going on?). Aside from graphics that honestly pleased me because it reminded me of those Fallout 1 characters that popped up to talk to you, right now, this game looks like it was made by an mateur team.
the game is a disaster right now that they release patches because on ps4 it looks horrible it seems to me a hoax this waiting so many years since they announced it and paid 70 bucks and I find this game disaster until they solve it and it is seen on ps4 As it should be, I am not going to play because the graphics look like ps2 full of bugs and on top of that the resolution is 720p, not 1080p, it seems disrespectful to those of us who have bought the game for ps4 and others for the xbox one because I love it the game history everything but so I don't intend to play it that is clear until you fix it 17gb of update 1.04 and it looks the same it is a disaster to have put it on sale like this in this way I hope you will fix it soon cdprojekt red because the game great the witcher 3 it was a masterpiece that you put out it had some bugs. but you solved it right away I hope the same with this cyberpunk because it is unplayable right now on ps4

played with the new patch today and have to say they fixed some of the bugs but there's new bugs that i came across.
like if you kill a civilian you will get one wanted level star and the police will spawn next to you and start shooting you
kinda funny but yet its sad.

This game is capable of being the best graphical game released to date.. on PC. I think when they release the PS5 version it will be comparable but obviously they couldn't run it they way they wanted on all the other consoles. I'm ok with it like it is now. I'm not spending $1,000 to upgrade my PC to play one game.

It IS a buggy mess. Graphically it doesn't look that bad though. Most of you should know you lose fidelity with a game of this size. If you want something comparable, check back to Fallout 4. Mass open world FPSRPG. Cyberpunk still looks better than FO4.

But damn the constant crashing on and me and my friends have PS5 as well. What a turn off.
Twitter is full of people saying buy PS5 to play it, well it will still crash anyway. More like buy PS5 for faster SSD to return to game quicker after a crash. Thank god for manual quick save I trigger myself everytime I finish something including inventory management or long car journey etc. anything in case.
Part of me was thinking wait for dedicated PS5 version but FOMO made me want to play PS4.
Even latest 2 Ubisoft games AC Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion didn't crash on me like this game does and those I've played on both 1st Gen PS4 followed by PS5 free upgrade to finish campaigns.
Hotfix 1.04 has made resolution better and I turn off film grain and all other options. Turn it all off.
Just weird no tester decided to work their way through the campaign on ANY PS console to see what would happen in stability or even notice blurry graphics initially.
it is upsetting, I'm braving through the awful graphics nad glitches to enjoy it, I admit I'm having fun but that was not what I was expecting, and not what they promoted to be like. (with PS4 videos everything, the game does NOT look like that on the ps4).
I turned off all graphical effects that make the game uglier than it already is, it got a bit better, a little less blurry but still blurry anyway. When you look at things 2ft from you, it has this blurry haze, effect or whatever. I feel like I need glasses, it seems V is short sighted.
On some combat sequences the framerate is definitely below 20fps.
It's unbelievable not too long ago we had games running beautifully like The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, yet this game is falling apart graphics wise.
ive been playing it on PS4 pro ( system is only 3 years old mind you) and the only issue ive noticed in about 8-10 hours is shadows dont appear correctly . its not game breaking at all its minor if anything. also looks pretty good in HDR/4k( my TV supports both of those as well and is set on 2160 res) ive yet to run into any major bugs myself though and hope i don't
1 thing that would be really nice is if in the graphics settings we had more things we could controll like pc does. so if teh base ps4 is struggling then people could turn things like shadows off and ofther things that are taxing on the system ( i get it if it couldnt be done due to limitations)

turning off all the graphic options that's a good advise it really made my game look i bit better but only in a day time, when the night comes i see the roads and building as the same object and i dont want to start talking about rainy days , also don't turn on the HDR option the game look even worse.

I have to agree with you. Even when it works, it looks terrible. I was shocked comparing it to my PC version, which is beautiful and smooth. They spent so long, and delayed the game enough to try to get it running on the last gen consoles, that I'm skeptical that there's much they can do to improve it. Probably they should give you a voucher for the PC version, or something like that.
