this petition will not help, CDPR is not some indie company, CDPR is now multi bilionaire company won't do anything for a thousand petition signs, also the requirements to completely remake game is just ridiculous. Game is out its done, all it has left is to fix bugs thats it, GAME OVER. It's sad i agree but we have to accept what we got or simply turn away from this game no matter how difficult it is.

Exactly this. Some 'cut content' will never happen because the devs found it either didn't work or unbalanced the game. Other content was down to time and may well arrive later.

Sigh, another petition.

Can we please stop petitioning everything that's going on in this world? [...]

I am pretty sure CDPR will include much more features with patches and free DLCs.
They gave Witcher 3 so much love that I am almost 100% sure that we will get our barbers, tattoo parlors, subways and what not.

Almost signed it, but your description of "cut content" killed my mood, as there is so much more that was cut from the game, including most roleplay possibilities.

Would have signed a "Bring back cut content!" petition, through.

Not signed because I don't agree with everything (in fact, I disagree with the most important lines).
Also, disclaimer before I get into this, this is my personal opinion. If you disagree with me, it's perfectly fine, we're all different, that's what make the beauty of this world.

With that out of the way, I understand that people want a more role playing experience but I personally don't think it's the most important thing to work on right now.

I mean, let's be honest here, being able to sit and have a drink or sit in the chair when you go to the ripperdock is gonna be fun the first hours of the game and then you're gonna completely forget about it.

I'm not saying that putting more life in Night City wouldn't be a good idea (in fact, it would be a great idea) but this game needs actual content that's fun to play, not bland animations that won't bring to the game experience except for feeling a tiny bit more immersed.

It's particularily true since it's not the direction CDPR wanted to take for this game and that's something we need to respect.
No, CP isn't a Role playing game, it's more like an action game with Role playing elements. Clearly, you can see the focus here is more on gameplay and less on immersion and as surprising as it might sound, it's not necessarily a bad thing.

Immersion oriented games tend to be slower and more tedius to play (RDR2, Death stranding...) because they feature limitations that only "make sense" in our real world but they have a strong immersion value.
On the other hand, gameplay oriented games (Sekiro, Dark souls or any Fromsoft game, for that matter) are more punchy and straight to the point at the cost of immersion.

Since CP belongs to the second catergory, if they want to add something, they need to add actual mini games or interractions with civilians that add to the gameplay experience (random people in the street that challenge you in a race/fist fight, people asking you to assault another NPC, steal something from them or whatever, people asking you to buy or find something for them...those are some examples).

The only purely immersion oriented animation that could be given some love is, indeed, more Joytoys.
I mean, they already added this interraction and it's kinda lame to have so few options. If you do something, do it fully.

But even before that, I think the most important things CDPR should focus on at the moment are fixing the bugs...and litteraly certain things this petition put in its "bonus" section.
Like, refined police response and AI improvement are just "bonus"? No! Not to me, those two are massive issues that needs fixing asap...Way earlier than even thinking about adding more life in the city.

Also, for PC players, rmemember that mods are gonna take care of most (if not all) of the immersion problems you have anyway. Like it was pointed out on the petition, sitting, having a drink ect...Those animations are alrerady in the game. I know it's lame to rely on mods to add content but there we are.

There's no point in signing petitions for something already know. A petition doesn't promise anything.

Or add more content
lie:
1. make every love interest avalibe to V regarles of how V is bluilded, that would be nice
2. add some activities post romance, making your love interest your avalible sex partner or something, anything really would be an improvement
3. detach all arc stories from the main one, i know johnny has some input in some quests but really all the positive point you can earn with him are on his chian of side quests
4. what hapened to the 'you can have a 1 night standing with almost everyone' ? there is literally a handfull of people to angage in relations, only 5 or so
5. Custmisation, more more MORE, my car my clothes, my V, c'mon

This game made me think. When we reach the point in triple A gaming, where making a game so complex and bloated wont be simply worth the time and money ? How about devs should focus on one thing instead merging 6 different genres into one game.

Cyberpunk is a good game, above average for sure, but from what was promised .. it's 25% finished.

I tottaly agree with you about romances\sex etc. Tons of people love romances in games and this was big selling point for many of us. I have no idea what happend with that. Romances we got are decent but also artificial, there is no real " knowing each other better " outside of doing missions. The heck, even Mass Effect 1 had so many dialogues with love interests outside of missions.

25% is probably an exaggeration (if they kept only 25% of their promise, I don't think anybody would play the game right now) but I agree with your point, definitely.

Thank you for those who signed, and those who just took their time to read this thread. The petition is here to show CDPR how much we, hopefully everyone, love their work, but also to show them that regardless how much we like their products it can be better.

I completely understand both sides, and yes bug fixing and making sure consoles actually are playable should be prioritized before anything else. Yet at the same time many of the suggestions that I see in the forums, including mine, are not impossible to achieve or should be even seen as new content. Specifically because many of the suggestions already exists in the game they just are not possible to do outside of specific missions.

I also agree with those who believe the petition is silly, although I do not agree with it being a waste of time. Specifically it is silly that it has come to a point that someone, me, actually felt the need to make a petition. It should never had been something I felt should have been in the first place, but because the game feels unfinished and missing content the petition exists.

To those who say people should stop whining etc etc, here are a couple of reasons people do and have a right to whine in my opinion.

1. Many people have taken time off to be able to play this game when it came out, and if you were playing on a console that time playing the game would not necessarily be a fun one, unless you had a next gen console. Not only is then your time wasted, but when you realize that the REAL game you will only get to play when they eventually patch up the game and add content which can take up to a year or 2 this makes you feel you have wasted your time.

2. Some people actually bought super PC to be able to play this game, and when they boot up the game and realize that features have been cut and that the game itself is not really an RPG anymore many feel that their money might have been wasted.

3. Base Ps4/Xbox owners being lied to.

4. Scalpers making it impossible for people to buy next gen consoles that could have actually played this game. Thus you are doubly pissed because you can't actually play this game properly.

5. Cyberpunk is not an RPG anymore, it is a looter shooter. Being angry about that is absolutely justifiable.

6. 2020 happening and this being a final straw for some.

Thank you all for your replies and I hope many do enjoy Cyberpunk.

How about no ?

It's useless in many levels, and this petition will fail.

You can just accept the reality as it is.

One simple reason to explain my point : CDPR staff spent something like a decade of their life to this game, it's been rebooted 3-4 years ago, then they've been treated like sh*t by the investors who wanted the game to release sooner.

Do you think that the workers are gonna spend another 2-3 years stitching the piece but they're already sweating again water and blood for fixing all this mess with endless bug patches. They will never bring back the game we wanted, they can't do it, they're not morally disposed to do it, period.

What message are you going to deliver with this petition, think well about it, dear pal.

Personally, I doubt asking for additional content is the best idea, while CDPR is still trying everything they can to make the game run stable on all supported systems. That's not a situation where you add content.

Also, even if they were to add "cut content" (whatever that may or may not be), it would require a lot of time to actually finish it. Just because something may have been cut at some point, doesn't mean it was ever completed for the full game.

Besides, expectations are always a tricky thing. No matter if it's a game, a movie, or something else. Most of the time the reality will be different. People prefer different things and sometimes cool ideas don't turn out to be as entertaining as expected and are cut for a reason. It is impossible to meet all expectations, especially when they are that high.

I'd rather patiently wait for upcoming patches, updates, and expansions. I'm curious what's yet to come for CP2077, and hopefully, the next patches will fix most technical issues for all supported systems.

I disagree with that 90% of the good stuff is gone! they cut way too much of it. this is flat-out false advertising. and we were deceived just to sell a game and it's wrong!

Signed. I love the game, I want more content for the game. If someone in CDPR reads the list and puts in even one little thing from it, my gaming experience is going to improve. Hopefully the modding community is going to address all this stuff if CDPR don't. I'm here for the Night City experience, I love what we have now and I'll still be hanging out in Japantown long after the FPSers have got tired and moved on.

While I agree on your points, I think the biggest issue here is the enemy AI. Of course you can add this all kind of iterations you claim, but at the end the battle system is going to be flat ,boring and extremely easy.

After more than 40 hours playing (or better saying testing) the game I can say that AI is flat, with low iterations, predictable, and not smart. Graphics are immersive but as soon as I enter in combat I lose the immersion because of this.

Like, if you shot a guy with a silent weapon, the rest of the guys don't have a clue where you are shooting, but in fact they could have a barely idea just looking at the direction of the fallen dead body. Or if you shot a guy from a roof, they don't have absolutely idea where you shooting at, they don't look up or down. I have a done several missions where I shot from crystal roof and not a single one looked up. I could write few pages of what enemies need to do, like different AI based on factions, as well as adding different characteristics like .methodist, brutalist, smart, soldier discipline, tactical knowledge.

For example your enemy is Methodist 9 of 10. Brutalist 1 or 10.
He is gonna take more time to aim, but he is gonna shot you at your face.
If your enemy is Methodist 1, Brutalist 9
He is gonna shot you at soon as he is looking at you but probably shot at your thorax or arms.

AI should react differently if you wear a katana or a machine gun, or a pistol, or a sniper.
For example if you wear a Katana all enemies should shoot at you except the guy you are chasing who will be running away from you. But if you have a machine gun, and the enemy has a katana. The enemy will run away from you rather than coming in a straight line to you.

Also difficulty system is bad designed. It seems they just added more health to the enemies but they shot with the same bad accuracy and reflex (at least this was my impression) Enemies in very hard should have better reflex, better accuracy, and better intelligence but the same health pool that other levels.

Enemies should be smarter, if you have a sniper they should throw smoke grenades. If you hack a guy, they should yell "Hey I am being hacked, cover me", they should have hacking protectors, so they can avoid your wall-hacking.

Positioning is also very flat, they should try to flank you 90º from his partner point of view. So you need to be aware of your front, your right, your left, and your back.

I could keep going adding more and more possible iterations depending on different factors but I think I made my point.

This is WAY too early to ask for cut content to be added back.

The game has way more pressing issues that need to be addressed before adding anything. Let's be honest here, a lot of us are having vastly different experiences with the game. Myself, I am not having any major issues and I count myself lucky. The anger from those having those issues is fully justified. The game shouldn't have been released in it's current state but pushing it back again wasn't an option apparently.

I'm in a weird place about the game myself. I both love it and am highly disappointed in it. I can spend hours playing and loving every minute of it, yet, I remember how CDPR marketed the game and I know that's not what I got. It's still, in my mostly bug free experience, a good game.

It was marketed as so much more. It could've been so much more.

I know CDPR knows this and I hope they plan on doing something about it. Games can be redeemed and become incredible successes even after disastrous launches. I'm hoping CDPR is going to aim for that in due time. History indicates that they will.

The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece but it wasn't always the world-renowned game we know. It launched in a semi-decent state. It wasn't as bad as Cyberpunk's launch but it had it's fair share of issues. Crashes, animations bugs (floating Roach anyone?), invincible bandits, a control system so unintuitive it was eventually completely overhauled, etc. Yet, months later we had the amazing product it is today plus some free DLC and expansions (one of which is just plain amazing) coming.

I fully believe the developers at CDPR want Cyberpunk to reach the same level of renown The Witcher 3 reached. Before they can do anything about it, the game needs to work properly though.
