Significant FPS loss when switching between menus and game

+
Hi guys,
as title, I'm noticing a significant FPS loss in the first 2/3 seconds after switching between game and menus (examples, when opening and closing main menu, when opening and closing map, inventory and so on).
A parte from this, the game runs kinda smooth in all other moments. The only MODS I'm using are HD reworked project and a mod to increase car traffic.
I might be wrong, but I think this specific FPS loss started happening since I enabled DLSS frame generation; could it be actually related?
Anyone else has the same problem and knows a fix ?

You can't really exclude the fact that it's possibly tied to mods :(

So you probably won't like that, but you should try to remove any trace of mods by performing a clean install of the game. Then start a new playthrough to check if the problem persist. If not, try loading your current save to verify.

If I was to hazard a guess, I would say it's your increased traffic mod. Potentially HD reworked textures as well but first bet is traffic.

I can confirm that HD reworked has a number of people reporting slowdowns when switching to/from map from a quick look at the comments and the bugs section.

Your increased traffic I can't confirm anything since I don't know which one you use, there are quite a few. Based on experience, I have seen versions of this that seem to go a little too far on the increase and cause these slow downs when switching to the game from menus because they essentially exceed the game's data stream capabilities and this slow down is caused by the game playing catch up basically.

While @LeKill3rFou's suggestion is the only surefire way to confirm if mods are the issues, these type of mods can typically be dealt with reasonably easily.

The HD reworked project you should be able to remove easily with your mod manager or by hand if you manually installed. It's a texture replacer, these can be removed and leave nothing behind.

Your increased traffic might be a bit more of a problem depending on which one you have. From what I have seen, most can be removed just fine.

If disabling both does not work, then you may be looking at a clean install.
