Also, assuming they have been working on this patch since 2.2 launched. That's roughly 7 months of work for just this patch alone, probably more. That seems like a lot of work, right?
Historically, Yes, every major patch with significant changes/upgrades/features has had a stream to accompany it, Often the same day the patch releases.

Yes they did, I think it was about 45 mins long they reviewed all the changes and then at the end hinted that update 2.2 wasn't the last "surprise" which has caused endless speculation about what else they were working on, Obviously 2.3 is what they hinted at although some people think maybe they were hinting at even more.

Just to clarify my post, When I say major patch, I mean anything with new features or content. so Like the difference between 2.1 and 2.11 or 2.2 and 2.21.... 2.1 had actual updates to the game, 2.11 just had bug fixes. So that's how I differentiate. 2.1 got a stream, 2.11 did not. Same for 2.2 This does not reflect how CDPR labels or categorizes their content, It's just how I associate things, New features or updates to existing features = Major patch, Bug fixes = minor. I may be oversimplifying but that's just how it is in my head
