So I managed to kill the wild hunt, in act 4.

So, does anyone know the potion recipe that the vapours of the hunt are used in?(How about you project red guys?) I tried a little save/load potion creation, trial and error. Haven't came up with much. I don't even know if its a 3 reagent+boss mutagen potion. Or 4 reagent+ boss mutagen potion. Frustrating. And yes, I'm quite insane killing the wild hunt. He parried like 50 hits in a row, then the 1 hit that got him 1 shot him. Cleared up the last wraith, then the wave of next 3 wraithes, and quest complete+vapours of the hunt.Took like 20 minutes. But worth it for the vapours.Fun.

And was he there again at the end of Epilogue ? I mean, for the soul of Grand Master ?

He doesn't drop a formula, and no one else sells or carries one. So, no use for vapors afaik.

Ya. If you drag him far away from the grand master, and killhim again, you can actually get out of combat, and loot him again. I now have 2 vapours of the hunt. on my save file, after hes dead. Pity its a deadend. I wanted the ability to play on :(.

A lot of xpacs or sequels seem to take away all your gear and goodies. I am hoping, given how this game is, this will not happen and you get to actually keep that and the other stuff and herbs and armor and weapons, etc. I really like to collect stuff, I have all my swords, and so on in storage also, cept the ones I was using. I'd be really upset if I could not keep The Lady's sword and the Markham Shill and the steel sword I bought in Chapt four nor able to keep wearing that nice armor with the three quicklslot bars :) and the more than thirty thousand orens I had LOL.And after going to all the trouble to loot that corpse for that substance.. well... .... hardly seem fair not to keep it in a sequel.

You'll meet up with him a several times through out the game. He follows Geralt around, cause death is something Geralt deals out a lot of . Interesting thing he has to say to Geralt at the end is that though Geralt THINKS his destiny, misson was killing Salamandra and getting the stolen stuff back, he tells Geralt that is NOT why he was resurrected and came back from the dead. Kind of sets things up somewhat for the next one to come out.

Actually, the destiny part is pretty clear. If you go again in the chapter 1 and during the first meeting with the King of the Wild Hunt choose in the dialog to reject existence of the destiny you'll learn (already knowing the end) what was the reason that dude decided to resurrect you. ;) Though, I won't spoil the fun of learning it yourself, just go and check it out.
