Once you save in version 1.10 the problems are permanent. The fix they are coming out with will fix it from 1.08. You can play HoS just do not manually save over your last 1.08 save. And when the fix comes out you will need to go back to your last 1.08 save and start from there to avoid the issues. So technically yes you can play but before you put time into it, I would wait for the fixes to come out.

Well that's too bad... i was planning to clear HOS and then clear all the achievements, i guess i'll have to wait.
Tested 1.10 on PS4 last night, NG looks perfectly fine aside from Dandelion and Zoltan missing from the Chameleon (post game). Should be fine to play HoS on NG PS4
The hell? What are you talking about? What permanent problems? Did I just wasted 20 hrs of my life?
They said the fixes could not be applied retro-actively to a 1.10 save. It has to be applied to a 1.08 save. If you are on PC you should already have your fix. If on console you need to save your last 1.08 file for them to fix the issues with patch 1.10. You essentially can't progress forward at all until they say you can, because apparently in 1.10 saves the issues are permanent. For which we are still waiting on this fix unfortunately. I wish they would at least give more direct answers instead of the vague "We're working on it" or "soon".
Unless you'd like to have your Wolven gear or any of the free DLC items for that matter. If you have those for patch 1.10 then I guess you are good to go. Maybe they got the fix to Ps4
There is a problem with disappearing mastercrafted armor in NG+ but only on PS4 and XBOX ONE we issued a hotfix for PC users on Friday. If you are not playing New Game+ this will not affect you in any way. :cheers3:
