So much wonderful clothing ... that we can't buy or find

+
I have yet to find another conical hat. Yet I was lucky enough to find one. Not saying make them abundant. But if its unique ill never start a new game. Or untill I find the crafting plans for it.

maybe you need to max out street cred, and save before clicking on the clothing store, the store randomly generated a list of item that it sells the first time you clicked at them and remember them until it refreshed the next day, so you load to check the store, reload again until you get the clothing list that you want, Every store had it specialty clothing list, the NPC that V mention "any good yukata's?" got a nice selection of Japanese themed clothing, and I got a replica model of Yorinobu's jacket by reloading.

The game need a flexible upgrade cost system.

The more player's gear
stats lag behind the current level, the cheaper it should become to upgrade it, while you CAN upgrade it past current level but it'll gradually get very expensive.

Stores need to have specific styles that are mentioned on the map and set items they sell based on your street cred.

RNG is bunch of crap.

We also need to be able to preview the clothes on our character before we buy them.

All simple things, all should have been in the game on release. If somebody actually bothered to test it properly.

This. Plus, the game needs to have way more options to customize not only clothes, but also how our implants are looking. I want those neon lit legs !

I'd sure like all those opaque and transparent PVC options. Like the Mox and Tyger Claws stuff. They're just the same options with different shaders, anyway.

And there seem to be plenty of missing bottoms. Like a bunch of matching skirts to some of the tops, that the NPCs sport but aren't being sold.

Yeah, customization in general was really turned down. I remember in the trailers and old customization videos they said you could have glowing tattoos. That never happened :/. Sucks you can put chrome on your face and look like the Maelstrom goons, or Lizzie Wizzie (I think that was her name?). Hopefully mods and future DLCs will expand, and I'm sure they will. But for now, we'll have to be content with this.

While I'm not even one whole playthrough through, I have had a lot more luck finding interesting armor in the "evidence" nodes for the assaults and crimes reported "daily". Besides that hat, I've kinda grown attached to some of these pieces, though I dread the day I find a legendary shirt uglier than sin. While trying to find enough armadillo mods, I surfed the shops a LOT and it seems they carry next to nothing most of the time.

It's almost as if rushing through the game is why you only find trash to wear. The clothing stores change inventory over time. I used gear I found throughout for the most part and saved up eddies. Then when I eventually found a more corpo themed store, since that's my life path then I updated my clothing and there are slots to upgrade your clothes even if you can't find an exact match immediately with the stats you want. Also its called CYBERPUNK....don't expect to dress how you do in every day life. if that's what you expect then you are playing the wrong game and should have done your research on the cyberpunk genre because there is a specific aesthetic expected in this world. Crafting skill allows you better flexibility as well so all this complaining is really from ppl who are either not paying attention or just want to post something for clicks. If you aren't investing in crafting then don't complain about it, that was your choice.

i agree. I really love how Hanako's dresses and ofc, you cant just buy stuff like hers neither in the shops..this game is very much unfinished...this is why they have proceedings...because a lot of people feel cheated..

I like the variety, I'm just running into being effective or looking cool, all the good kit I've found so far is either neon vomit or corpo military. Was really hoping for more Blade Runner or Tank Girl-esq threads that don't suck sewage. My V looks like the Techno Viking got blasted through a ski resort locker room in 1992.

Ok so there is some clothing that is really missing for "style over substance" outfit choices.

Litterally almost every peasant in some kind of "rich" neighbourhood has better clothes than I. Guess it will come in paid dlc :coolstory: (look how blyatifuly every npc is dressed in the second image!!!)
Ok imma cry myself to sleep, GN all :coolstory:

imagine wanting to be a cyberpimp. you're a merc in a highly militarized industrial city, why aren't we allowed access to high end heavy armor like those used by trauma team? instead we got rainbow colored pimp outfits lol. nah i understand civilian clothes, but if i'm going in a mission, i want heavy armor for my power weapons based character

Yes, quite right. As a veteran of other games and virtual worlds where fashion is very important (Second Life, Entropia Universe, Hellgate) and items are collectable, I am disappointed. It's a let-down that most of the fashion (female av) in CB2077 seems to be poorly designed and that NPCs dress way better than your character can be. Most options seem to be some cross between cowboy/girl, utility wear, sports wear, garish colored urban and plain old dull attire. In a supposed cyberpunk world set 56 years from now, how is fashion so dull?

I was expecting neon infused clothing, lights, video textured clothing, uber fashion design. The neo corporate characters in the video adverts with chrome body parts, inbuilt cyber elements and all manner of other predictably 'futuristic' clothing fashion are all absent from the player character options and shops.

I was looking to find amazing thigh high tech boots, variable item coloring, tech add-ons which changed item appearance, unique clothing. I thought there would be open minded adult clothes, see thru, micro skirts suspender(garter) belts/stockings, huge heels, a vast range of cyber jewellery, Blade Runner style hats, and much more.

Now they censored all the clubs etc you even have dancers in windows and clubs who are fully clothed yet female npcs on the street are skimpy attire - makes no sense at al. I wish we could steal clothing from npcs like you can in Skyrim

Also slots are really limited, there are only 2 for each body area; where are the gloves (hands), jewellery options, arm and wrist bands, leg armour, ?

You can wear a helmet or hat and a 'wreath' but not enough slots to wear shades as well on face. Unlike Entropia Universe for example there is just one category of clothing (some armoured) but no separate clothes and armour layers to double up. I hope the modders get busy on these failings. I already have added 4-5 mods to improve the base game a lot. 'V' seems very dull generally but there are a few good items to be found eventually. Does anyone have a definitive way to match up visual catalogue of clothing with the console commands (#hash name) of each clothing item yet?

Quite true, I've not seen that girl in the see thru jacket and suspenders stockings, short skirt yet and for sure nothing like that exists as wearable stuff for the player, and it should in a supposedly 2077 cyber city; the whole thing has been censored down into a dumb vanilla sportswear arena

Yeah Im pretty sure clothes in this game, like most of the game, didnt make it past some nerds superior morality filter, and so we ended up with this bleached out hollow shell, because 80% of the game was sensual.

The really cool looking stuff starts dropping and appearing in shops once you reach at least level 30 and street cred 40.

Basically, if you want to dress nicely and play with the cool toys, you have to be high level IMO.

On lower levels, the clothing you get is mostly garbage.
