So glad I didn't buy Anthem.
At least with 2077 (on my PC), I'm able to play it and dump a ton of hours into a story.
With Anthem it was just the same gameplay loop over and over with zero story, and even less world building.
Tbh anthem always looked like a fucking disaster. A game with no identity. It looked like it wanted to be destiny so badly it somehow looked more like destiny than destiny, with destiny itself probably being the blandest 'future alien war game' ever made.
Cp77 looked promising. It still is. I really hope they continue to work to realize this promise.

Yeah,take advantage while you can if you feel its necesarry. I never got a refund for Fallout 76 so enjoy while the offers on the table.
Do you think Sony does its part, instead of literally taking the money from its audience, is something 'huge'? She is just doing her part before being sued by the US Chamber of Commerce ... or any other commercial agency in another country. The CD did this before, guaranteed the refund, Sony was refusing ...
Yeah, I'm pretty confident this happened because CDPR promised refunds on consoles without Sony's consent.
No I don't think so. CDPR had an update plan for console that will probably get scrapped. This is pretty terrible news for the company. I assume Microsoft will also follow as they will have thousands demanding they do the same. So it will become a PC exclusive, I think they will update the PC version and then in about 6 months rerelease the console version once it's fixed.
It's also worth noting that since it is not in PSN store anymore, does this mean that players that do not refund it will not receive updates?
And that'll be a good thing. PC is where RPGs are. I really wish it was financially viable to develop a game for PC only and not have to bend backwards and design your 'deep narrative focused rpg with large immersive world' for controllers and obsolete hardware.
I would very much like the answer to that from a dev. I bought my hard copy through amazon and they say they will charge me 100% restocking fee for return of opened game
I don't think it will be just for PC (I would even like it to be) but I think the CD will keep on the consoles if Sony and Microsoft comply with their part in any signed agreements. as I understand it, the situation is happening until the game receives updates. Nothing more for now.
But if it were up to me, it would be exclusive to PCs.
