It's just not confirmed yet. NGplus is one of the (if not the most) requested features, I'm pretty sure they're trying to put it into the game.So it's a soft diplomatic no ?
Okay....
I still don't see what the point of NG+ is supposed to be when you can max everything out on a single playthrough anyway
For me to be incentivised, NG+ would have to add something genuinely interesting and new, like TPP cutscenes. It has to feel different to a regular playthrough somehow. Otherwise, I'd just as well start up a whole new playthrough from scratch.

I like how new game + is 'hard', but cross platform save is 'easy'...
cross platform saves are a piece of piss. translate flat file with a readily defined structure to another then ftp it if it has to go somewhere else. Adding NG+ by comparison is a massive undertakingI like how new game + is 'hard', but cross platform save is 'easy'...

The games complexity and architecture govern how easy it would be to implement. There's a lot of moving parts in cp2077 to consider. Miles wrote a long post on his twitter I think about it. Found a link.. https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberpunkgame/comments/x77al2But other games have figured out NG+, and on a much quicker turn out too. I think cross platform save is still a relatively new next gen feature/thing.
I almost never tried NG+ in any games, but the last one was Star Wars Fallen Order... Absolutely useless... Maybe present day one, but nothing interesting (you just keep the cosmetic stuff... how great^^).But other games have figured out NG+, and on a much quicker turn out too.

Better to replay a new game![]()

What does that guy know?
He is just a developer on the game.![]()
In fact, just a guess, but I think they want a "good and interesting" NG+ (even for those like me who doesn't use NG+ in general) and not the usual "cheap & boring" that generally games have.I know that...but hell, they got NG+ to work on Witcher 3.I hope my posts aren't coming off has "CDPR sucks" and as hater. I'm just wondering.
I'm not sure they ever said they planned to do it. Someone ripped a list of DLC names from the game files and then took it upon themselves to announce that this was what CDPR was going to do. Which is not the same thing.First for the new patch but.....
Do you still plan to implement this at any point ?
By now I think I would just hope for a modder do something about it.
