That's true, but I doubt all of them were made especially for marketing/showrooms. The only thing that seems to be this way for sure is the whole griffin quest in the first presentation.
I think they moved it to give you the parallel with TW1, where you have your private meeting with Foltest in his office. It seems more fitting. And there were a few times in the game where they brought back TW1 memories, especially at Kaer Morhen.
