So what is happening with Gwent e-sports?

Last qualifier was in the end of the April. Over 1 month passed and everything is still TBA. It seems weird to me that there is no announcement yet for the next Gwent Challenger and Masters.

Do you think that there will be next season of e-sports for Gwent after Masters? I kinda doubt. Eventually in a different format.

I think they are just still working the kinks out of the new game before they start up esports again. We all know that Homecoming never had a testing period like Beta did. The launch was full of bugs and unbalanced af. They probably think it's most important to fix those first so the public doesn't see an unfinished game. Idk, this esports drought definitely isn't making Gwent more popular though.

I think they're lacking money since they let real Gwent die at the end of last year.

This is sad for me it looks like there won't be any official esport.

As much as I also poking jokes on the topic, perhaps the main reason is the new expansion. Maybe they are waiting to patch it properly, so they can include it in the next tournament.
