So....When's The Update For The Modkit Coming out?

I mean Marcin Momot stated it was coming soon. That was like a month ago. Any new update on this would be appreciated.

Yes. The modkit update should be out with the next PC patch. I'll try to post the changelist soon since it's been updated since the last time.

AWSM. I hope the update to Modkit lets modders do more in terms of modding, access more files and of course a nice tutorial explaining how Modkit works would be vastly appreciated so that beginners can get into the modding scene easily. Thanks for the reply and looking forward to the update.

I pray the UI will become moddable and TW3 gets its own version of SkyUI.

This for sure!

Also - I really, really hope mesh/texture structure is explained.
(We just got a patch, too, so I hope it doesn't take too long.)

I really hope this update will be delivered before the release of FallOut 4. Otherwise most of the mod community will have moved on from Witcher.

I doubt it really works that way...it's not a group of nomads on the Internet, who move from game to game, in between Bethesda releases. They simply need to make them easy to use and understand...compare the difference between first and second Neverwinter Nights.

This post is fantastic for two reasons. First, I /totally/ nomad around from game to game - but it's between Witcher releases (which takes a long time. ;) )

Second - are you saying you played the first Neverwinter Nights?! Like, when it was an AOL game?! I didn't know anyone else remembered it!

The first NWN was awsm. It has awsm modding community as well as multiplayer not to mention a fleshed out SP story.

It's still is number I when it comes to how much quality content it offered...hell, I remember someone made( Dreamcatcher saga ?) it possible to fly on a dragon on old Aurora engine, something that Bethesda comically failed almost fifteen years later.
It makes you wonder what we would have today if EA didn't bought Bioware...would they continue to build future games based on template of Nwn toolset? Damn, now I want to go back and play it all over. :p

Maaaan...Bioware was so cool before EA bought them up and clipped their wings. They're still trying to fly though.
