Hi, guys maybe that will help you.
So as you know there is a common bug with Directx 11/12 and APi for Directx12 in Win7 x64 (Some ver. Win10). Most of you crash at start of game or exact the same place. In my case that was all reflection or mirror section. Is due to issues from API especialy for all shaders and reflections without proper setup. So if you got this error:
Message: Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.
File: e:\r6.patch0hotfix2\dev\src\common\gpuapi\src\dx12\gpuapidx12error.cpp
Stream: //R6.Root/R6.Patch0Hotfix2
InternalVersion: 3.0.3214677 P4CL: 4155897
My spec:
CPU i5 6600k/ GPU Evga GTX 970 standard / 16 gb ram 3200 mhz cl16 Win7 64 bit / Directx 11.1
This work for me:
1/ Update yours Windows especialy current package for cpu x64 (january 2020; KB4539601);
2/ Also update yours audio drivers;
3/ Update your GPU drivers if is nvidia use thiers Gforce Experience;
4/ After that start (GForce Experience) optimanization option on CP2077 and chose: windowed/ preffered resolution and maximum setting towards quality. And then run it.
5/ Lunch CP2077 --> Go to the video setup and make sure get 60 on vsync; Also you can enable support for older HDD (I got SSD and it's seems more stable with that, no delays);
6/In graphic setup those options:
Sorry for polish screenshot but it's late and I think that you still get it
6/ I'm using mostly medium and high setting and has'nt occure frames drop. (It's up to yours sepcs wich you will choose/ Ultra for me was too much).
7/ IMPORTANT: only settings that i keep at low are fog and reflection or in polish version mirrors.
Checks if it's work for you! Have a great day or night
Hopes that will help some of you. The game and story is just sick/psycho good.
