[SOLVED] WITCHER 2 2.1 crashes to desktop on saving

The witcher 2 2.1 crashes to desktop randomly (mostly during SAVING)

Attached my specs (by DXDIAG)

i have no AV resident (clean system)

i tried (without solving):

-defrag (game only loads faster)
-/3GB parameter in boot.ini, game freezes after loading last save, so i removed the parameter
-launched game from witcher2.exe bypassing game launcher

before crashing, the game runs smoothly with all high settings except ubersampling, bloom and vsynch

don't know if game was ok before 2.1 patch because i started playing just a few days ago, anyway i don't have problems with other "heavy" games like crysis 2, metro 2033, dirt 3, rage...

thanks for help

Might check to see if there are updated drivers for your sound card .
Also if overclocking your video card then turn down to stock clocks , this would include factory overclocked cards .

i'll check sound card drivers this evening but i suppose they are ok. I also will try installing the game on my windows 7 partition to see if there are differences. I'll update this thread ASAP

p.s. I tried launching the game with GAME BOOSTER disabling all unnecessary services, same result, i played for about 20 minutes and saved the game 2 times. As I hitted F5 to save for the third time the game crashed to desktop

I know F5 is one way to save but you can also press Esc on the KB and do a manual save just in case that that the quicksave is coming at a time when autosave is saving at the same time .

I sometime tried to save pressing ESC and selecting manual save and the game crashed as well

UPDATE SOLVED:
-I installed enhanced edition patch, crashes decreased but still happened
-I increased windows paging file size, then changed some graphic setting in witcher launcher. (medium size for gpu memory, etc, used RECOMMENDED SETTINGS OPTION), back in game i completed 5 missions and eventually ACT I without crashes.
