Some Languages Are Not Available in Language Options

I'm playing the game on Xbox. Unfortunately, the Turkish subtitle option doesn't appear in the settings. I deleted and reinstalled the game once, but the error persists. Has anyone had this error before? I'm playing on Xbox Series X.

These countries may carry different disc versions with different languages, check with your vendor which disc version they have in stock
Includes: Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, The Netherlands
DISC

Text - Russian, Czech, Hungarian, English, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Ukrainian
DIGITAL and some DISC

Text - English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese

Well, according to the link previously mentioned, Turkish subs can be supported by disc versions (but apparently in Finland there are also disc versions that do not support it...), but it's not supported for the digital version. So yeah, unfortunately, it seems like for the Finnish region Turkish subs are not always available.

What should I do in this case? Because there is a Turkish connection in the other games I play. I only have this problem in your game.

For console gaming the store region is what matters and yeah - and unfortunately not every game offers the same languages in every region. That being said, usually Xbox store websites contain concrete information regarding available languages in every game...

If you bought the game digitally from the Xbox store and are unable to play because of the language issue, you can try asking them for a refund, but I don't know how strict Microsoft is in cases like this one...

The store I bought it from definitely had a Turkish subtitle option. I can also send you photos and videos.

I‘m only a moderator here, I have no influence in things like that.

In the end only the store where you bought it from can give you a refund, if you are in an xbox store region that does not support turkish subtitles.

I am in a region that supports Turkish subtitles. I am currently emailing with technical support and they say there is nothing they can do. This seems strange to me. This is officially a bug and the publisher does not see it as a bug.

The reason Technical Support says that there's nothing they can do is because, your copy of the game not having Turkish subtitles is not a bug. You're just unlucky to have received a copy without.

The best you can do is parley with the vendor you got the game from if it's possible to trade with one with Turkish subtitles. Or let your phone do it.

When I bought this game, I played it in Turkish. Then I deleted it. Then I bought the DLC and wanted to play it again. Then the game became completely English. I bought the game completely digitally. When I bought the DLC, the Turkish language option was definitely visible. I also played the original version of the game with Turkish subtitles. You can tell me that I can play the game in English, but I paid for this service too. After the updates, the Turkish option disappeared. I'm trying to explain this. I apologize if I seem aggressive. I don't mean to offend anyone. But a very meaningless bug found me and prevents me from returning to a game I love. People talk about refunds or money, but my goal is to return to the game.

But what you are telling us now is a very different to the info you gave us before.
And we can only go on what you are telling us...

If it worked before and stopped working now, you can always reach out to CDPR support using this link:
(click on "contact us" to send a ticket)

But if you do reach out to CDPR support you need to give them the same information as well.

I already tried. I don't understand their attitude.

Yeah, a whole new different ballgame. Try the method mentioned in the link Devivre send you. That should do it.

Try finding the option, "Not installed." "In Main Menu access Settings > Language, select a language appearing as “Not Installed”, select the icon next to it (make sure you have enough storage space)."

Did you bought the DLC from the same shop?
I bought game from Turkish store, i bought DLC from Finish store. But both the DLC and the main game had Turkish support when I bought it. I'm 100% sure.

For my understanding, I will resume :
> You bought both game and expansion digitally on Xbox. The game in the turkish store and the expansion in the finish store.
> When you played the game, "alone", turkish subtitles was available, everything worked fine.
> But after installing the expansion, the game turned to english only for both "audio and subtitles" with no option to set subtitles in turkish.

Am I right? If yes, you're sure the expansion support turkish subtitles?
(in theory, it's noticed which language are supported for both audio and subtitles on the game/expansions description in the store on Xbox, so please add a screenshot if you can).
It's just a guess, but I think both game and expansion share the same language setting and because the expansion doesn't support turkish subtitles, it would explain why the option disappear and the game turned out "english only".
So did you try to uninstall the expansion, just to verify if the option reappear?

Yes, you got it right. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who showed interest and tried to help. I just don't understand the behavior of CD Project Red officials. There is an error in the process and I cannot translate the game to Turkish because of this error. I uninstalled the game and tried to install it again. I even tried to return it to buy it again. But unfortunately, the system did not approve my return of the game.

Sorry to say but where you are 100% sure that both the main game and the DLC had Turkish support, I actually am 100% sure the DLC which you bought at a Finnish store, did NOT had Turkish support and thus, when you installed it, to my guess, wiped all the Turkish files from the main game. Something that really should not be, to my knowledge.

I think that's why there was no mention in your video of "Not Installed" languages. Because the Turkish language "slot" was removed and thus it cannot be installed. Is my guess.

If you just recently bought the DLC you should ask the Finnish shop if you can trade for a version with Turkish support.

You should also consider to propose to Technical Support what you wrote here as a repro:

Tell them the game version of each case. What game version you played in Turkish and when you deleted it, what version the base game was when you installed the DLC and the Turkish option was visible. Then mention the exact update at which the Turkish option disappeared.

If Support can replicate all this, then they can start working on a fix as this obviously is not intended. You being on a console prematurely gives you the benefit of the doubt.
