I have a sound issue, that seems to be quite different from the missing sounds that the main sound problems thread is filled with, so it might warrant its own thread.
The game sounds as if the output is in stereo mode on headphones. Meaning that sounds coming from the side are playing only on one side instead of both with different volume, as it is needed for a good headphone experience.
I use the onboard sound system on my MoBo (MSI Tomahawk MAX, drivers updated), with the headphones plugged in the back.
When I connect the headphones the board thinks that stereo speakers are connected, and everything (other games, videos etc.) sounds as I described above until I enable the headphone virtualization option in the Realtek control panel, wich fixes this, but it seems that CP somehow still puts out sound in simple stereo mode. It makes the game pretty hard to enjoy.
Do anyone have some ideas on how to fix this?
