Despite how the game released and despite how CDPR has handled pre-launch and post-launch communication which deserves all the criticism in the world. I would like to just take one step back and talk about one of the positives to come from Cyberpunk 2077 and the guys at CDPR.
I'm talking about the game's soundtrack and score. The amount of love that has been poured into the music for this game is truly astonishing. The music that has been created for this game fits so perfectly into the world. Cyberpunk 2077 shoots above the clouds with its music. Artists like Refused embody the message and tone of the fictional band Samurai. Instead of your generic and dull futuristic electronic music you'd hear in many a game, tv show or film, Cyberpunk music feels like it's been created by real people that live and breathe in Night City. All the Radio Stations are full to the brim with great artists like RTJ, Grimes, Gazelle Twin and more. Even the more traditional electronic music in this game is incredibly well crafted.
To everyone who worked on the music for this game, CDPR members, Independent Musicians Thank you for your efforts. The amount of atmosphere and tone and life you bring to Night City cannot be undersold. Without such a great soundtrack and score Night City wouldn't feel as half alive as it does.
