Hi all. I'm pretty sceptical that the developers pay any attention to anything we suggest on these forums, but perhaps part of the problem is that our complaints are too vague. So I had the idea of a thread suggesting very specific, focused changes to certain cards, with a logical reason given for the change. In other words, not just "I hate this card, change it now!!!" Try to make it something which is hard to disagree with! Who knows, if there are enough sensible suggestions, particularly from veteran players, the devs might actually take note.
I'll start with the following: restrict Casting Contest to only work on Mages. The lore reasoning for this is obvious, but it would also be an improvement in terms of gameplay.
There's nothing wrong with the card itself, the problem is its synergy with the Reaver cards. Those cards have too many ways to spawn copies, and this would remove one, while leaving this card to work as it was surely intended.
