Specifics on the combat

In witcher 2, I remember that the light attack would pretty much zip Geralt across the level to land a hit on the target, while the heavy attack had practically no travel and either hit a target next to you or nothing at all. As such, the light attack worked great for quickly closing the distance to follow up with some heavy attacks. Has this been kept the same for witcher 3? I'm hoping someone who has played the game already can reassure me...

good question, tw2 had some sort of "auto-aiming", tw3 has this too?

from what I understand, holding down the fast attack button makes geralt close the distance. The same goes for rolls

I don't think the holding the button works like before.

Now he doesn't dash automatically to the target. The fast attacs do have a nice advance with the spin, but it's just the spin. You'll have to control the range by yourself. In terms of gameplay, I think it's very good. Seeing Geralt performing conseutive fast attacks doesn't look good, though.
