There has been dozens of posts and comment on this quest for years.
CDPR hasn't responded so I can only assume they have no plans to fix it, but it has completely ruined my attempt to play PL three times now.
Every time I do a playthrough on very hard, and then get to this point, can't figure out how to beat it, try probably 30 - 40 times, give up then walk away.
I thought I was just getting bored of the game in general. Only after for the third time getting stopped at this exact mission did I realise it might to do with this. Of course, googling shows dozens of threads commenting with the exact same issue - but only if you have a specific build.
So I'm guessing if I want to play PL, I either completely restart again (for the 4th time) to do a build I don't want to do, or I lower the difficulty to a level that immediately becomes boring the second I finish this quest.
Would be great if they fixed it, but the truth is this game has multiple choke points like this, where all of a sudden the great game design gets thrown out a window and you are shoved into a tiny room and beaten repeatedly with no alternative until you change your build. Seems like a bizarre design choice to me.
