When all 7 hands that are dealt , the same, I would say game is pretty rigged.V is not good either. Its just two characters put in fucked up situation. While i would like something diffrent, yes, but gotta play with hand youre dealth

The story is good for a movie or a book that I would only want to consume once for a long time. But this is meant to be a replayable/explorable video game. I don't wanna relive this story any more than once. No, youre very wrong here, you May not like story, but in no way is it bad. Story is good, consistent yet tragic one. There are flaws, but not ones youre mentioning
No doubt. The endings are cut short to lessen the story, with so much more to give. And the result is #rapedemotions. We paid for a ticket on this journey, only to breakdown halfway through and have the driver go home in a taxi, leaving the rest of us in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere.but its true though.
Not in night City, you dont bocome a legens by being good personI beg to differ.
this is a role-playing game. V is what you want them to be.
But now we have mass effect 4 teaser, where smb think shepard is alivei have make both no Arasaka Ending ... ending with Nomad style de most happy but .. yes both end are sad ... really dont like the end of this Great game. that remember me Mass effect 3 ending ..![]()
It's not even hard. If only the game was actually about V and NOT Johnny. What we got feels disjointed; a complete mess when it finally gets to the end.Of course... Try coming up with a believable story that can be gone through in less than 10h of gameplay.... They cut too much to keep up with the release date and gave us this unfinished mess....
My feelings too. Independent of the game, yeah I would absolutely eat this stuff up if it were on the big screen, but this is something we are meant to be able to sink hours and hours into, with meaningful connection and rewardThe story is good for a movie or a book that I would only want to consume once for a long time. But this is meant to be a replayable/explorable video game. I don't wanna relive this story any more than once.
As I said before, in my playthrough Jhonny didn't make himself look redemable. I decided to take Arasaka's brain surgery so i don't have to kill my soul in the process. I wasn't planning to sell my soul to Araska, i was using them as much as they were using me. In the end I decided to return to Earth with my cancer rather than sign their contract. But I was given no closure after the credits. But what sound better, guaranteed life to one person or trusting arasaka? We already know how corporations operates, nothing is guranteed about that deal
Cant disagree with this. Also characters do get a little closure, but man those messages in Credit scenes were realy sadThe story is good for a movie or a book that I would only want to consume once for a long time. my V didn't want to become a legend, she just wanted to get by. I said as much to Jackie in the last car ride, to the girl in Clouds, and then proved myself to be a decent person with every action I took. Not in night City, you dont bocome a legens by being good person
No better than in ours.I mean it is a fantasy world in where spiritualism a big part of the lore.
When all 7 hands that are dealt , the same, I would say game is pretty rigged.
Trusting Araska. Why would I want to let Jhonny live and me dies? At least I get chance here. It's my body. He had his chance, he screwed it up in previous life. He doesn't deserve to live over anyone else. Especially himBut what sound better, guaranteed life to one person or trusting arasaka? We already know how corporations operates, nothing is guranteed about that deal
Yeah this is why I had to redo the arasaka's ending twice to find that kinda closure, there's a moment when you can remove a gun sitting next to Yorinobu. The first time I removed it and ended in the space dump, I thought, maybe if the gun remains he's going to kill himself making Honoka the next in line to control the corp but nope no changes T__TAs I have said many times before in many threads. My issue is not about V dying. It's the way they went aboit without any closure, except for the nomad path. Or I suppose they give closure to Jhonny if you care for him.

Problem is I can't I literally can't get myself to start up the game again.
Well, supposed to at least.I beg to differ.
this is a role-playing game. V is what you want them to be.
Until you realise that your V died the moment you got connected to Alt, and the version you see with Panam at the end might as well be someone else entirely. In most ending yes, but i loved nomad ending so much
i reviewed the endings many times and only this one caused me the best and warmest emotions, it is very well and beautifully staged, the only one where the moral growth of the main character takes place
Well i cant blame you, i look at this from diffrent perspective. You either think people are redeemable or notJhonny is basically a cancer and rapist (mental one), terrorist, prick and douchebag (see how he treated ALT). He treats you like idiot most game and is absolutely disgusting as human being.
I went with Arasaka ending just to kill this bastard and If I ever to play this game again I would do it again. Nothing brought more satisfaction than ending that bastard life.
It's a shame that it costs V life in most cases for a failure of human being like Jhonny.
maybe if we stand before a mirror and repeat "Fallout New Vegas" 3 times a better rpg will suddenly appear...
(Except in that game this is how it begins, not ends)
I said my opinion to this point so many times, thats original V and i am not going to prove it again sorry)Until you realise that your V died the moment you got connected to Alt, and the version you see with Panam at the end might as well be someone else entirely.
I didn't feel like i got any closure in my ending. I didn't get to see my friends and Kerry in person. Only through sad voicemails. Then i was put back into an earlier save where I can do visit those characters, but cannot address what I've just went through. The reload to earlier checkpoint imo felt almost like an insult. Very bad gameplay choice imo. Would have been even better if they just put me back to main menu imo.Cant disagree with this. Also characters do get a little closure, but man those messages in Credit scenes were realy sad
