Guys they will not rewrite endings, be nore realistic, the can just be more concretical about soulkiller and surely dlc wnere they can add new endings with side plot or continue 2 happy ends
Yeah, they won't rewrite the endings but they can easily add 1 good ending like the ones I wrote with 2 different variations where V lives or make a dlc after the Panam ending where we find a cure for V.

Frankly, should have given an option to go to Evelyn or Dex after all fuck up. If you go to Dex, he betrays you and story goes as it is now but give at least one ending where V lives.

Now that you mention it. I never noticed that before but... yes. Why did we go to Dex? Why was there all that talk/offer of cutting out Dex beforehand if we never got to choice?
Because if we picked Evelyn over Dex, if that was our plan from the moment that she made that offer, there would've never been a reason to even visited Dex in the motel. But we never got to pick.

You seem still to think that we all want that Panam ending, NOOOOOOOO!!!!

It's a question of how you see this process

But I still tend to believe that this is V because we see the whole game through her eyes, just in the end we see how she goes into cyber space
But seriously, we can't say how the copying or moving of the mind , as you prefer, it doesn't exist in the real world, our opinion, based on the books that we've read and the games we played, every author sees it differently, everyone sees it your way, now I'm questioning your point of view, may be the developers did not make inaccurate, maybe they wanted each of us has formed his vision of this process, it may be because they don't want to impose their point of view if they gave the exact answer, the choice of endings would be more trivial
I'm not 100% sure what you mean but there is a definite implication by Alt that the original V and copied V are not the same thing. She presents this as a fact and noone in the game questions it in order for the player to pick a side and belief. Thus whoever wrote this particular bit about the story doesn't really give us a real choice for us to decide what soulkiller does. It is presented as a fact.
Now, and this is 100% my own opinion, this discussion about the authenticity of copied V would have a lot more merit if at least one person would give us a reason that Alt is not correct about her description when it's aplied to the human experience.

I am not sure about how soulkiller work
Because if it is a copy
When smb is making you copy in this way, you will continue life as a copy, or as original, in soma we can see that you(who lived all life before) will life as a copy, in this game we can see the same

Biochip could have done something because body was dying. I mean, it is unknown chip, with unknown capabilities. We only learn that it can't be removed after getting shot. And it was made to be used probably on dead people. No idea what it does to alive one when not damamged.
As we know the story in it's current form, the chip was activated once V flatlines, and the chip essentially revived him. I don't know if the chip cares if the body is in the process of dying. The chip is meant to rmeain inactive in a living body. Accordin to Hellman I believe.

then the endings I did suggest since that will work for any romance and can be triggered in any path we choose :D
erm, hello, no! because the male romance characters don´t leave the city, for apparently good reasons, even though it´s heartbreaking.
So I rather want an ending in the city, where i can my romance end well. doesn´t wanna say you can´t have yours, but let me have mine.

Engliah is not my native language and its so hard for me to explain how i see it, Sorry(((

I much prefer a happy ending too. Real life is already tragic enough.

Of the three endings I experienced so far, one was really heartbreaking (but also really interesting so I enjoyed it), the second one was just stupid and sad, but the third one was good enough for me.
Where you leave Night City with Panam's crew and Judy - at least you get to spend the rest of your short life with her and both Judy and V seem pretty happy. :sneaky:

Certainly wouldn't mind more happy endings though.

read the damm endings I did post, that will work for any romance, whether you want to leave the city or stay.
Is just an ending where V lives, what you do after is for you to decide.

I don't like that as Corpo I am forced to hate corpo. My V would like to go back to corpo, to luxury, discipline, serving Araska for respect, high status and credit cards. Yet game seems to force me to "no, no, you must hate them! You are free now". But I don't want to be free. I want my V to go back and be a VIP in Arasaka.

This is what is lacking for me in corpo (Hanako) ending: We should be able (as Corpo background) to swear loyality to Saburo to become his new bodyguard/assassin (V already proven that he is top tier merc and defeated a lot of other elite fighters). As we get our engram upload -> we go to Character Screen and we can create our new body (or just get clone of old one - whatever) and at the end of the game we are being waken up in new body. Few months has passed (growing cloned body was long process). Saburo is waiting for us. He is saying "time for you to earn your place, youjimbo". V just says "Yes, Saburo-sama". And credit rolls.

At least it's complete ending. Game could also continue then in Night City with some optional simple Saburo/Arasaka quests with espionage/assassinations etc.

Gosh, so much wasted potential in this game.

yeah okay, I would look after them, but as there are so many posts i doubt i´ll find them

No no it's fine! I think I get what you mean! Don't apologise.
I think one of the possible issue why this whole debate is happening, because the story and gameplay doesn't really support eachother in a sense.
Alt says that the original V will cease to exist, yet in game you continue to see through V's perspective like before. Which makes sense since I can't really think of a way they could give us the sense that things are different yet offer the same gameplay experience.
Perhaps a long blackout to the point where the player might feel something is wrong, only to be brougt back into V's persepctive again. Maybe V has issues to recall the direct transition, or note that he feels different/depressed whatever.

Note I haven't actually experienced, nor saw those cutscenes and endings so this is in no form an education suggestion. Just throwing stuff at the wall.

I would love this, 100%. If life in NC is cruel and evil, then let us embrace the evil.

this was the original post, though I did reply to someone that seems to have missed the whole point of my post (nexus) a few pages ago.

Only in the Arasaka ending, you feel like something is starting to go very wrong, and like V is disappearing each day.

(and Misty is very worried about V if he chooses that ending, so I doubt that will be a good ending xD)

++ and here we see the right question, i think V now thinking about smth like
Am i a human? Or just a code deleted and then loaded back to my head.
What this proces changed in me.

Was already discussed as one of the grey endings. You betray Johnnys ideas, and everybody judges you, but V would live after removing the chip. Deal with the devil, but live. Kind of really missed opportunity.

I feel like the game wants to be more than a story about survival. Wants to be philosophical, but doesn't approach the topic the right way, doesn't ask the right questions and doesn't dive deep enough to explore.

Just being dark for darks sake.
