So, time flows differently in cyberspace, he was imprisoned in what, 2020? I don't remember, it's 2077 so for him it's been like hundreds of years already probably, he dwelled on his hate and being imprisoned in Mikoshi for that long it's safe to assume his memory warped and remembers things differently which would explain his hate for Arasaka, he already hated Arasaka way before he died so it only solidified and made the hate stronger is my assumption..

I didn't die, V got restored and jonny was in the engram no specific time limit to life either, would've been nice if you can visit night city after without loading the save back

Which ending is this? Because Alt makes it clear, if you give Johnny your body, he can live on, V's body is no longer his, it's Johnny's, you cannot un-do the damages.

Alt does say that "Return to body and live the life of what its left" indicating that, not much or give body to Johnny. It's literally the same ending as with Rogue one except Rogue doesn't die since you go in alone.

It´s somewhat sad to see a studio create so many great characters, that feel real, only for all of those just to suffer. All the great personalities(V, River, Panam, Judy, Kerry, etc.) and none really matter in the endings. I mean sure, there have to be sacrifices on the way(like Jackie, T-Bug, Evelyn), but at least something like love should matter. You wouldn´t change the world with it but at least a group of people who you really care about( Rivers family or Panams clan). But then also right now you didn´t change anything, Arasaka pretty much still rules the city in every end and you´re left to die in 6 months or on the spot. I wish we could at least save the people we love and continue living with them in the City or outside of it nearby.

It's the supposed secret ending where you go alone without Rogue, it's the same as Path Of Glory but Rogue doesn't die. V gets 6 months to live (Or V's copy, whichever you prefer) and goes to Crystal Palace or Johnny takes over.

Maybe i misinterpreted it but i thought it said V's mind and body shall be restored and jonny shall reside on the engram with me, at the credits they were all talking like i was the next big fixer in town and they were gonna hit me up

Except not in one ending is that theory proved right. So no reason to think Jhonny would screw us over intentionally. That is ofc true if you have done any of his side quests.

At least in this ending the fewest of your friends die in the end. But you still get *Soulkilled* once you reach Mikoshi.

They should have just let us plant another nuke in Mikoshi and bring everything down, instead of this "Let's make a copy" bullshit.

I would assume secret ending would be where there is a way to save V, but fuq me right?

Tbf, I've seen a lot of Cyberpunk style movies, but none of them were depressing. Sure they were sad at moments but mostly they were mysterious.

Yes, if you survive you get the Space Heist ending. But you are already Engram V with only 6 months to live and your girl leaves you. But at least you don't drag others down with you.
