Think there is a lot of people having issues with romances and the endings in that exact respect, where is the L? If anything, it highlights that there wasn't enough time for romances or the main story in general.

I could excuse the lack of the L-Word with the short timespan you had for establishing bonds.

I mean you have this sense of urgency and the game at act 2 (where you meet every potential partner) takes place in what? Maybe 3 weeks?

You just made it to 3rd base and that is pretty realistic.

What a prime opportunity to add DLC content that continues the romances...wink wink

Yeah lot of contradicting info in those sides, its like the small quest with that vending machine S.C.S.M "Brendan" that basically says that to him you appear already dead but living like a "glitch" written by a highly skilled netrunner.

Yeah, but if you finished that quest you found out that Brendan was not AI, he was just a machine.

Also a side question. If this universe is 'so dark,' how exactly is it possible for Rogue to literally assist Johnny Asshole in nuking a corporate headquarters, but no one goes after her even though she's sitting wide open in the most popular nightclub in the city?

Just how grim is the future when you can commit mass murder on that scale, and the 'all evil' corporation just turns the cheek and ignores you. And the government and police ignore them. I thought part of the dark fantasy of the future was a nanny-state, not the opposite where the government is so hands off--you have the kind of freedom to be a psychopath and no one gives a shit as long as you can walk away from the scene of the crime.

Johnny being able to assualt Arasaka once (to find Alt), and then perform a concert a few months later only to nuke their headquarters without immediately being detained by the police or swatted or anything? How are we suppose to assume that the corps are bad if they're fangless and just let rebels fuck up their shit without any real repercussion? Sure Johnny got gimped, but had he escaped on the helicopter--he'd probably be taking shots in the night club and everyone else is like "oh, that silly goober, we can't get him now, he escaped the scene of the crime! Ah shucks!"

Johnny's memories, as we see them in the game, are not consistent with what actually happened.

• Johnny, Spider, Rogue and Shaitan were part of a Militech strike force consisting of two teams: Alpha team with Johnny in charge and Omega team with Morgan Blackhand in charge. The nuke also came from Militech.
• There were battles going on in the streets across the city, involving not only Arasaka and Militech troops: even gangs were fighting, in a futile attempt to protect their turfs. In other words, Arasaka HQ probably wasn't as well defended as it could've been due to their troops being all over the place.
• The assault on the Arasaka tower in 2023 was the beginning of the end of the 4th Corporate War. The US government blamed Arasaka for the bombing and kicked them out of the country while siezing and nationalizing all their assets in the US (other nations did the same with Arasaka assets in their respective countries). Militech also ended up getting nationalized for their part in the devastating war (since Blackhand had been a 'double agent' who reported about Militech's shenanigans directly to the President), just as the japanese government nationalized Arasaka as a way to save face. This is why Rogue and the others didn't face any retaliation from Arasaka.
• Johnny's first attempt to save Alt from Arasaka happened in 2013. There was a whole decade between the two incidents, not just a few months. The thug who almost killed him in 2013 also had wolvers, not mantis blades since those did not yet exist back then.
• Johnny did not fight Adam Smasher alone. Rogue, Spider and Shaitan (possibly also Thompson) were there. Johnny decided to distract Smasher so that Spider could upload Alt's engram to cyberspace but he was quickly dispatched by Smasher. Shaitan then engaged him so that the rest of them could escape. While Shaitan did get dismantled it did not happen before the helicopter had even landed on the roof, he lost his fight against Smasher who would then use his head to goad Blackhand into fighting him on the rooftop.

/spoiler either one or another, johnny goes with alt to the 'cyberworld' with their friends delamain and other sentients, but you still die on 6 months, cause the chip made your brain like sepsis cancer and its incompatible to you.

I'm sorry what? Johhny isn't dead, he is removed with the chip most likely in Arasaka ending. I don't get it what do you mean by side missions. You do realize once you are finished with the main mission you are put back into your last save, so you can't get rid of him.

It doesn't matter which ending you choose. Only at the end do you realize that V dies at the very beginning, after being shot in the head. And everything that happened later was just a prolonged agony. Cruel ...

Just spotted this in the first mission with Jackie, probably around more. But man this makes it suck even more. Just screams 'go nomad' ending, not exactly the best for all those who don't want to snuggle up with the nomads.

I personally don't see the point of this topic, there is one ! The one where you bike off with the nomads and especially if judy is coming along with ya ! It’s quite the lesson i find and one which i loved and made my cry, enjoy the little thing while you can and count on family to help wherever they can !

Sure there is this whole " you got only 6 month to live because biological nonsesne ( and im a biologist and its realy fucking non sensical what they try to bring on to justify it ... even just a critical person can see the big holes in there i guess )

I mean, you ride off with your love and in the last scenes with the family ( panam and mitch ) you learn that they will pull any string possible to help !

I have the HEAVY feeling this is an opening for future DLC where V might be finally completely cured!

And this feeling is even stronger after having seen all the other endings ! Every one lets the possibility of V returning (be it for arasaka soul bank, from the deep web with Johnny's lover or vi returning form the badlands, spacestating with à handy solution near

nb: except for the scuicide ending of course !
