However, personally, I don't even mind the engram-V as much as some here. I get it "its not "V" anymore, but a copy...but maybe its me being a long time Star Trek fan that I can overlook that...I mean beaming is kinda destroying your body and recreate it anew somewhere else...
Or some other metaphor ... to me, as I see it with the engram-thing, it is like ... when we sleep. We drift away, sometimes dreamless, without any concept of time and space anylonger and...when we wake up, all is there again...
It all makes my head hurt however...feel like "V" trying to think over all this mess and not understanding one word the "experts" tell her all the time...

Hey that´s ok, we can all decide ourselves who we love or not. I find his character really touching and since im straight anyway, he´s a logical choice that doesn´t hurt, because i really love his character. I also like Judy, would do 1 playthrough with her, but currently I lack motivation of playing this game in general.

And I'm ok with no happy ending, but it this case it doesn't feel like your decisions affect something.
For example, in case if you complete all Jonny's quests he won't take over your body and add option to merge V and Jonny minds (since they both became digital), so the shard wouldn't destroy V because now it's not just V.
And with that ending where V dies if few month after... it's just sounds silly in a world where Smasher exists with like full body replacement and V is dying cause his own immune system attacks him???

Funny thing is, as far as I remember Johnny talks about him also getting V's memories and how it changes not only V, but also him. That actually lead me to believe I could get an ending where that happens (wouldn't be new in the genre either). But it's just not possible.
Yeah, and not only that: You can get implants for your immune system in the game. It makes no sense to me
