Nope.
They are simply broken.
The first is your race to legendary status. It's stuck at 90% until you play an ending.
The second is "is johnny your pal?" and you cannot raise it above 70% I guess it was intended to go to 100% anyhow, but that has been cut.
The last is "I am dying soon ?" marker. I have 110+ hours in the game, and it is still at 40%...

It's either cut content or reserved for DLCs, which would up my hopes for sequels with V.

I also think they should react, but:

No way. And even if, and I stress IF, they would actually reply, it would be some kind of marketing speak. "We love that you love discussing our game". But that's about it. But like I said, there is 0 chance they'd react to this. Also if they'd react to this they'd have to at least acknowledge our ideas. I think it's more likely that they are trying to close the thread rather than react to it.

I think it shows 90% when you choose to give Johnny your body, could be mistaken though. Does the last percentage go to 100 when you finish everything in the game?

If the conversion meter (to be clear - the one on the right) really can hit the 90% mark and V can still be "saved" by engram, the whole story has even more holes.

OK. If the 100% mark is the point of no return, it would make sense.

Yeah. because even if they would wink and say: "wait for the dlcs", people would eat them alive.

Iirc, it was mentioned by milez tost and others whe. They were discussing the shorter main story (but larger open world part - although we can't really enjoy it, because endings) and that they plan to bring out expansions that have the range of blood and wine.

Blood and wine is pretty large in scope - roughly 40 hours iirc.

But isn't blood and wine also set at an entirely new map AND is set after the games original story?
That's something that seems not compatibly unless you play a new character. And to be honest, I'd care even less for a new player character.

I don't know if people would. They certainly would if they'd use this to buy themselves some more good faith only to disappoint again.

On another note I finished all the endings again and I can't say my opinion has really changed much. And I really hate in the only ending you avoid soulkiller you are literally punished for it. You start slowly losing your shit in the space station while all of your friends hate you because you are a sellout. Johnny judges you and to top it off you still only have 6 months to live. Like wtf. It's awful.

Still feels like the Johnny ending is really pushed ngl. Cause you know he can live in V's body with no string attached where V only gets 6 months best case scenario.

Panam ending is hopeful for copy V but original V still gets soulkilled which is overlooked and never explained. Any ending where you are soulkilled is a bad ending in my eyes. And regardless copy V still has to find a miracle cure in 6 months.

I thought maybe another run through the endings might change my opinion but no it really didn't. These endings aren't deep they feel like they are just edgy for the sake of it. 7 flavors of death is all the choice you get. Pick your poison chooms.

Also if removing the relic is bound to kill V why can't there be an option where like Alt or someone alters the relic instead of removing it so that it stops killing V. Just a thought

Not exactly.
You can play blood and wine after the main quest or before. There simply is an option to jump start the dlc from the menu, of your Gerald is not strong enough and/or has bad equipment.

40h each, that's nothing to sneeze at. Assuming they stay true to their word ...

40 hours is longer than it took some people to finish the entire game, so 40 hours of DLC (depending on which Act it takes place in) would nearly make it an entirely new game.

It's sad that those two are even comparable when CP was supposed to be the more polished and more ambitious game. The idea of Valhalla being the better RPG is just tragic

Valhalla was a purchase I made to hold me over until CP came out, now it’s what I’m going to use until CP figures out what it’s doing and what genre it wants to be.

Yea i kinda doubt we will get an official response. Kinda hard to stick your head out here at the moment im guessing. Hopefully someone will read trough the thread and know that were not happy with it. That would be enough for me. Could also be that there happy with it and wont change anything. time will tell i guess..

Same here. Bought it and was suprised at the pretty decent story and gameplay.. Combat is a bit clunky but overall id give it a better score then Cp2077. Gfx are pretty without any RTX and it ran fine for me maxed at 4k withc is more then i can say about this game ^^ Story isent as good tho... havent beaten it so dunno the whole thing but.

I guess they already are reading all this stuff.

The questions are:
- Are they already following a plan that would satisfy roughly 75% of the players?
- Was it planned from the get-go?
- do they care?
- "my artestic integrity!"

To get the "good" ending you have events all trough the story you have to do right. think its like 3-4 events that you have to handle correct to get the "good" ending. Thats in a game thats like 100+ hours easy if your doing it all. more like 200+ id say

Wow, I would have never thought that things would end up the way they did. Granted Ubisoft is the more experienced studio, it shouldn't really be an excuse for the mess we've gotten with Cyberpunk, especially with 8 years of development time and a $350 million budget. I guess that's the power of marketing...

That's how it should have been done here, make you work harder to find a cure. Not just get the "aww unfortunate, only 6 months to live" bullshit

Hehe im thinking they were the underdogs. I dident expect that much from them vs Cp2077. Having the rep that cdpr hade is both a blessing and a curse i guess. Still have it installed atleast so i can play whenever i want ^^ Shame they started adding that *bleeping* Exp booster shit now after all reviews were out. Kinda expected them to but still -.-

Personally I'd like to add:

Jackie DLC before anything is fixed with the endings? Nope.
Mainly because, as I've stated before, they've said they won't release cut content as DLC.
I like Jacky, but that would be such a slap in the face to "replace" a cutscene (get it? a cut... scene... ^^) with a playable story.
I'd be ok with the MP Mode being set in that time though.

That’s where ME3 did something right. When they said they had DLC lined up they openly said “This will NOT be taking place after the main game, this is mid game DLC” so people were free to buy or not buy (and I did not, like I won’t be buying any Act 2 or Prologue DLC if CP chooses to release it.) It’s been ages though, so I’m not sure how long it took them to announce it, and it’s the holidays now so obviously CDPR is hanging out.

It’s just unfortunate timing and it leaves everyone here to simmer in the bad feelings and assume the worst. I want to know noooow. :(

Wait, did they actually announce that back then?
Didn't they only tell people when the DLC was released?
I honestly can't recall.

If they give up now, then they won't be lasting in the industry for long. We can't assume their future releases will be any better than this, if that's the quality they settle with, it will only get worse

If you folks are searching for some Cyberpunk distraction, while CDPR figures stuff out, I can recommend Shadowrun Returns. You only have to be able to stomach the fantasy portion of this universe ...
