Search for "AKANexus" in this thread. They made a few posts summing up the topics discussed pretty well.Ladies and gentlemen, can someone sum up why exactly we are upset with endings in a number of refined points? I want a link to that for Nexus.

I brought that up too. Funny how asking him doesn't even cross V's mind...u can find gig where you need to save a JAPAN TOP OF ALL WORLD BEST BRAIN SURGEON
but V haven't even ask him to help
masterpiece truly amazing story of the year 10/10
Exactly. But right now it feels like all the endings are punishing you for not giving Johnny V's body.which is as terrible given the fact what kind of person he is
But Johnny doesn´t want it!Exactly. But right now it feels like all the endings are punishing you for not giving Johnny V's body.
I think he does not really care so far.
The most important backlash is about technical issues, not the world or the story.
But devs want(But Johnny doesn´t want it!
Right, and that's just another reason why the endings are shit. But Johnny doesn´t want it!

I actually think open-endedness isn't the problem, they wanted to have their cake and eat it so they are neither truly open-ended nor are they conclusive. If they were actually open ended I would never have made an account to post here, instead they wanted the last word on the state of your charater while leaving it ambiguous enough to avoid giving any closure. It's not cold, it's not hot, it's lukewarm and induces the gag reflex. As far as I have been able to follow along
These are I think the mainstream. But correct me if I'm wrong and/or add where needed.
- Story too short, ending too soon
- You always die
- Too openended
- Contradictory
Because there lots to unpack in those bullits.
I for example haven't touched the PNR because I want to completely clear the map and play all available missions first before playing all endings. There is no point in replaying it as it is totally linear anyway, so I'll suck every bit of good out of it, then do the bad part and then leave the game be until it is updated in a meaningful way. From all the users on steam only 30% just have talked to Hanako at the Ember, so the majority of the steam users don't have played any end mission. Maybe that's why the this topic doesn't get much attention, yet. They simply don't know.
Funny how Pondsmith said that Cyberpunk is about saving yourself and those you love, but not only can you not do that in the game. In 2 of the endings, including the supposedly "happy" Panam ending, it's not even you who tries to save yourself, it's others. Making V that much bigger of a loser (you can't do it for yourself and others can't do it for you either)The endings are not only sad for V but also for Judy, River, Panam and Kerry. They finally just as V found someone to love and to live with no matter the troubles of the world. And because you would end this game in a happy note with them, still doesn´t mean they´re out of trouble for all time. Next game could be about saving you and them from a different menace.
Thats probably where SaulTuk asks for the best journalist amongst us, definately not me.
