That's the point of this thread - they leave game with open ending - in this case no matter if it is promising, hopefull, or doomed for main char. So community is making assumptions on they own. That off course should not go that route..
I don't know why, but this made me think of a Quantum Leap type situation where V is responing to Hologram Johnny all the time
I feel the exact same way about other posters. You know, the ones that ignore what Vik, Alt, Helman say, and who keep clinging to a vain hope through what Misty says, "You live a good life in the Badlands" and that Panam is going to do all of her contacts and Victor's pills are helping V.
They want it to be with hope because they want to ignore the actual story and complain about it.
Its...not cool.
But I guess they feel the same way about me. They don't believe what the game is saying and think I'm misreading author intent versus following it.

I said I’d come back when I beat Valhalla to say whether or not you had more choices matter towards your ending, but I still haven’t beat it (150 hours in, the game is endless) ALTHOUGH I am noticing characters I chose to help/not help coming up as I get closer, which was nice. Maybe CP wouldn’t have rubbed the wrong way quite as much if the endings had more characters than just Panam showing up to help in the end, rather than just a phone call where you don’t really reveal anything or they’re just like “bye have fun.”

God, I miss that show, but am extremely glad hollywood doesn't remake it.
i just finished my 2nd playthough, was stuck at the point of no return because i didn't want to continue on the path to those horrible endings, but i had to having done absolutely everything else i could find, there was nothing left to do except finish the game. i decided from that point on i'd be using my own head canon, as it made far more sense then the actual ending we got. so, did the nomad ending again (as i was basically just replaying my first character, as bugs sort of ruined my first playthrough) alt tells V that she is going to die because the overridden dna in her body would reject her engram (honestly that is just so idiotic i can't seem to get past it), so in my head: alt lied to attempt to convince V to let johnny (alt's rockerboy-toy) have her body, and it would also allow her to consume V's engram, this has the bonus of making it look like it's V's choice so he isn't pissed at alt for "forcing" the issue (this would be an issue because V managed to turn johnny into an unselfish half decent human being), now the bit in the end with v bleeding is all because she basically had brain surgery and never took time to rest and recover, it's just her body's way of telling her to slow down. it may not be true, however when reality makes less sense then a delusion who's to say the delusion isn't in fact the actual reality?

Well, I guess it's time to accept that our situations are unimportant and despite all those pages with solutions, ideas and compromises offered aren't something CDPR (or anyone else for that matter) can be bothered to consider or even have a community manager reply to or acknowledge that the problem exists.
Time to wait for their final plans, get disappointed all over again by having them confirm our suspicions, finally move on.

The endings are as bad as the ones in mass effect 3, that's what I did mean, seems like I did expect too much from you if you can't understand that much of my post.
I don't want to spoil your life ending either but you must be a sad guy if you only come to a forum to be a smarty-pants.
Ghe, I was also thinking of that, learning to start modding the game. I would first need to get the PC version though but... Letsnfirst seenwhat CDPR is gonna do, and afterwards I might yet go for mods.

If they do Cyberpunk 2077 online as a prequel, I will be there day one. The opportunity to play with Jackie, Evelyn, Dex, and other characters would be amazing.
This is also the kind of game that thrives on gritty street level crime.
