Why would AI hate humans? One of the major quests of the game is you making friends with an AI (Delamain).
I thought that was the whole point of the blackwall and Netwatch, was to prevent a war with AI.
Yeah but Netwatch is a corporation that just ACTS like they're the FBI/NSA.
You can even point out their propaganda sounds like bullshit.
There is no point in looking for meaning in this plot.
After half an hour of grand theft from the heir of Arasaka and the death of the head of the corporation, all simply forget about the heroes seen by dozens of guards. As if nothing had happened.
As for my game - I didn't care about Arasaki's personnel changes, I don't understand why the player should be worried about it.
They are not antagonists of the game, there are no antagonists in the game. They just are. And they are doing something that annoys Johnny.
On the other hand, you could somehow beat it. For example, take the side of Yorinobu against his father after the Arasaka ending, help his engram return the body, and as a return service... no, it's still not interesting.
Netwatch? Who that, oh that guy that you can side with or betray and then nothing changes, they never show up, might as well dont exist.
in this same quest, an AI from beyond the Blackwall quite openly tells you you'll regret if you ever cross paths again.
fully integrated Delamain leaves as soon as you finish, saying it's hard for him to even talk to you anymore, and leaves you with one of his children basically saying he doesn't care you'll die, he'll just do you a favor and give you a nice ride.
whole VDB's shtick is being on the right side when the inevitable war happens, which does hint that AIs are hostile.

If I could change one thing with the endings it would be the (Don't fear) the reaper ending. It should have permutations where you decide what V wants to do - leave with the Nomads or take over the Afterlife. Speaking of, Rogue just handing us the keys to the Afterlife is so strange considering everything. Does she just want to retire at that point?

Delamain was programmed in such a way to help humans carrying on with the cab business. Alt is AI derived from a person who finds a way of preserving human consensuses (not soul) in bitwise-manner.

You know after beating the Nomad ending, i realized CDPR spoiled a lot of the game in the trailers, basically the whole story. There's quite a few scenes from the trailers that are in the nomad ending.
yeah, considering the agent says something like "I have a feeling we'll meet again" I also expected them to pop up later. but I guess there is always a possibility of this mythical dlc we all are hoping for fixing yet another weird thing

Wouldn't Arasaka just absorb you into Mikoshi? Sounds Borg-ish to me
for me any movie that has trailer that practically tells the whole plot, almost always ends up to be terrible.

There is so much potential in continuing the story with V, V going in search of a cure and in this process already putting something to start a next problem that V has to solve after curing cancer, in the next expansion.
To put V's friends in danger and maybe the possibility of them dying would be very interesting.
Now more secondary missions in act 1 or act 2 would be a big disappointment and waste.
It does not excite me at all to play a Dlc with more secondary missions even if it is for free.
