For my gameplay as a Nomad, because it is best fitting roleplaying possibility for me - I personally don't like corpos that much and I am not punk eiter (no offend to anybody) I was fixed for the rout far before that Embers talk, so it was waste of time - I am (my protagonist is) dying so no time to waste!

I knew from spoilers that leaving with Panam and Judy was possible, and I wanted that ending so badly (ha, no one told about 6 months!) that I let Johnny sort things out, thinking that we'd better lose his friends rather than my friends :) Ended up with 3rd person female V in tears, Johnny being mad that he didn't keep his promise of keeping V alive and calling Alt a liar, and V kicking him and screaming as he goes into the cyberspace... (with a very weird dialogue btw, as if V thought it's vice versa?). Oh, and as if that wasn't enough, Judy left me!

What I'm saying: whatever happens at Mikoshi shouldn't even exclude other possibilities. Why couldn't I still go with the nomads rather than cover for Rogue at the Afterlife?

Because your choices matter!

(but really only the two last one)

I got curious and wrote a scraper to see how many actual unique posters there were. Last night it was ~609 people contributing ~13,000 posts. This is either a cope thread, a RED point farming thread for validation, or both.

I admit I hang out here because I'm bored and some conversations here are quite stimulating. it's a good breeding ground for theories and alternative takes on what's happened, and it's far less toxic than reddit, so why not.

I was avoiding any spoilers of the ending like fire to not get influenced. I watched some gameplays before - all where different at the key points so I didn't get influenced by them that much either, But the ending is just my decision based on the previous ones. But as we all know by now we got ripped off with "choice that matters" part.

I'm in the same boat. I originally came here because I want to see the game succeed and thrive...and i still do, but now it's mostly just for entertainment while we wait for DLC.

Many posts here are arguing and pointing out opinions and points. I am open to talk and argue with anyone intrested in normal conversation as are many people here. I loved this game unit fuck up at end

Being confined and having finished my exams, I have way too much free time, and a part of it I like to spend reading through this... gets electricity flowin' thru my brain, ya know? Lmao
And I am here shitting posts and my exam week starts in 4 days...
.kill me

Dunno if anyone has noticed this: I tried ratting out Panam to Saul to see what happened, and some days later Panam wrote me a message (filed under the title "I despise you") which was not very nice. I tried calling her to see what happened... and we maintained a normal conversation. She was apparently not angry two seconds after sending those messages

Just another inconsistency and lack of logic... Because no reasons

Cdpr prolly didnt make even those 2% choices that matter right

The issue with grim ending is that it works for set and established characters as we are just along for the ride to see their story. Some of the games where the protagonist dies at the end make it emotional. When you make a player character like V to represent you inside the game, people get more attached to their character, and when they get to the end, you remove the choices and agency from the players. You don't have to have it all happy, and it could just be some selfish ending like V lives but at the expense of the entire city or something or have to make some selfish choices. Endings don't always have to be happy but when you decide to do multiple endings and all the endings are bad outcome, it is not much of a choice. It's like saying if you prefer to die by fire squad or hanging. You're still dead in the end and it doesn't make much of a difference.
