V 1 died with the Dex shot
V 2 died on Soulkiller
V 3 will now find a cure.
Maybe V has 7 lives like a cat, and that's the real message from cats.
V 3 is the same brain, with the same memories, with the same body as V 1 and V 2.

<hey can still bring this game back on track with DLC's and "cut" content, maybe some cut side missions and expanding V's story would definitely not hurt.

It would not only not hurt, it's needed. But them running pure damage control with that many sales already, I doubt they'll see any urgency for that. Or even see a requirement. They've burned a Main Character for no reason other than "Be like Rockstar".

After that pic I turn of the game - and get flatlined report... I'm glad I've done copy of the first run save and put it on the server. As I think of it: this is some kind of engram of the game, but without this DNA mumbojumbo

I gave a try at the "Don't Fear the Reaper" ending.
It is the least possible ending, the most unlikely one : V. storming the Arasaka tower on V.'s own.
Well, this is fun. Arasaka troops are the ones to fear the reaper. Because, the reaper is V.
Probably the best part of the game as a FPS.
My build is hand-cannon and critical hits (when you score 100K+ damage on a crit hit, this is no more a handgun or a pistol).

But, o god, how lame the ending his. CDPR could at least have done something about the ending sequences but no, no surprise there. I chose the Path of Glory ending.
At least, all the NPCs call you. There is no dead among them, so we get a message from all of them. And every one is happy but V. who's going to be a space tourist. Unless this is a cliffhanger for a highride adventure, this ending is still as meaningless as it is when playing the Rogue / Johnny arc.

All in all, try it if you feel like playing a nice FPS sequence. Otherwise, there is nothing to expect from it which is not covered in the others endings (except talking to Saul AND Rogue).

Ha. Death as a plot-pusher: get rid of the unnecessary characters (Jackie, T-Bug, Saburo, Dex, Evelyn etc etc), but also keep the main character busy dying because what are the other possible choices Not to mention dead Johnny and his dead gf. If V can die twice a week, this ruins the immersion tho, doesn't it?

Btw, there's something I don't get. There are 2 things mentioned in the game: a police officer saying that there were only about 7k murders last year, and then a loading screen news piece saying that NC's population dropped by 25% last year? Is this some sort of mistake?

I get it - V dies the same way as Arthur's horse in RDR2 - V fullfilled his job, the job to carry Johhny throughout the plot, and then can die already)

Prologue of dlc is epilogue of the vanilla

Well then don't mind to ask for just another prologue all the way until act (something) into a RESOLUTION for ending and call it The Big DLC.

So. Lots of people are not OK with how the story ended.
Many people who are OK with it, played the penam route and believe in a cure.
Most peoe think that it's a cliffhanger and cliffhanger would mean new post ending content.
I wonder what happens if there is no post ending content.

Yes, and that is one of the many reasons RDR2 is masterpiece, whereas CP77 is a tragedy of wasted potential.

When I read threads here, lots of people are not happy to get flatlined off screan.

CDPR never got questioned in regards to their story or conclusion before. It will be interesting so see how they will react.
