Sure.

The Wild Hunt are posers really. Ever since Ciri destroyed Eredin in the books, I have been laughing them off...

I imagine that a single soldier would have trouble defeating a witcher, but Emhyr offered a banner. Emhyr wasn't going to send 2-3 guys, he was offering a banner which (as far as I can glean from wikipedia) consisted of close 100 people in medieval Poland. So 100 soldiers under the lead of an experienced general might have been a massive help.

They'd be cannon fodder. You have to keep in mind that battles in games are always scaled down. You can't have a battle with 1000 men in a game because of rendering and design issues. I see your 100 Nilfgaardian soldiers, and raise you 1000 of the best Wild Hunt soldiers to fight along Eredin's side.

The Wild Hunt does not have 1 000 warriors to dedicate to a single battle...
Else they would not need Ciri... you do realize that?

Yes. Ciri won with skill AND luck.
Yes, she humiliated Eredin. Again with luck. But he was INFERIOR to Bonhart.

The entire scene didn't make any sense.

It doesn't matter who commands the army, if they really want to protect Ciri Geralt would accept the troops even with a Nilfgaardian commander and Emhyr would send the troops even without a Nilfgaardian commander.

On top of that considering where Kaer Morhen is located the whole idea of Nilfgaardian troops actually being able to go there is ridiculous anyway.

I agree, how Nilfgardian troops supose to go to Kaer Morhen when it`s located in Kedwen which is controled by Radovid in that time, and if Emhyr really love Ciri he could give us Fringilla, he keep her in dungeon, she could teleport to Kaer Morhen easy and Geralt wouldn`t object.
