I place my post inside a "Spoiler" as it is about the PL storyline and items you can get based on your choices...

I wonder why are the Blackwall powered items (the Erebus gun and the Canto cyberdeck) available only in one storyline. You have to side with Reed to get one of them. When you choose to help Songbird you have no way to have the Blackwall powered items later in the game, which is a pity. I know that after siding with Songbird you get her cyberdeck later in the game but it does not have the talking Blackwall AI and its horrifying effects.
Personally I'd like to have the Blackwall quickhack and hear quotes from the Blackwall AI but I feel bad about betraying Songbird.
I wonder why it was designed like that. For me Songbird is somehow connected to the Blackwall and even uses the Blackwall QH in the ending. So why we can't get it with her cyberdeck?

Do you feel the same? Maybe I am missing something...

I think it makes sense with how those two paths are designed differently. Somewhat Damaged is about
showing the horror of Blackwall and how it corrupted Songbird, basically. And you're the victim of Blackwall horrors and become powerless
in that mission. Compared to that,
you get to handle Blackwall powers firsthand in The Killing Moon and Songbird gets cured in one of two endings available
in that mission. Those two missions are like polar opposite of outcomes. Also I know how people love two items from Somewhat Damaged, but Quantum Tuner and Pariah are great and unique rewards as well and they tend to be underrated.

Don't feel bad about
betraying the person who double-triple-quadrupled betrayed you from the very beginning
I'd say. It's a game with choices and those choices have to possess consequences to be meaningful.
