"Dum Dum" doesn't sound like the real name. I noticed that Dum Dum's real name never seems to be mentioned, even while scanning and in the cemetery (if he died). Similar situation is Us Cracks, at most only mentioned their Romaji of pseudonym. V may be also a similar situation, it's unknown if scanning V from the NPCs perspective shows his/her real name.
In Second Conflict, if Dum Dum alive/keeping his position (don't know what will happen if help Royce and Brick at the same time, it seems that Brick will still win), he will receive V at Totentanz, Johnny say he "looks familiar" or similar. Given that Dum Dum mentioned that he likes Samurai in this mission, this can be explained as he ever met Johnny at a concert or fan meeting (there's never mentioned his age, nor can it be tell). However, deeper reasons are not ruled out.
